With a 2-1 loss against St. Augustine and a 1-1 tie against Civic Pioneers last Saturday, St. Ann's Rangers Ladies still remain 4 points ahead in the League.

 Rangers travelled to Pt. Fortin last Saturday and was given a scare when Kurlyn Jacob scored for Civic early in the first half; not having lost any games in the first rounds and managing 1 draw, Rangers could not afford to lose 3 points since Civic ended their First Round on a four game winning streak.

The away team was able to hold out  and would eventually get a penalty after Amy Joy Daniel was fouled in the box in the final minutes of the game. Captain, Chelsea-Marie Spence would make no mistake and tied the game 1-1.

Both teams were without their 'star players' as a statement was issued to the League from the National Team Staff informing teams that national players within the pool for selection to the Houston Camp are not allowed to continue playing in the League as they prepare for the first phase of their World Cup Qualifiers, the Women's Caribbean Cup Finals scheduled for 19-26 August here in Trinidad and Tobago.

In other matches, Central FC and St. Augustine also drew 1-1, after a hard fought and physical encounter between these two teams, while the match between the National U-15 Girls and Real Dimension had to be postponed to a later date.

League action continues this Tuesday 15 July with the following fixtures;

15.07.14, Defence Force F.C. vs Civic Pioneers, Hasely Crawford Stadium, 4:00PM
