KEVON CORNWALL netted a hat-trick on Friday as Fire Service FC hammered Inter- National Connection 5-0, in the second of back-to-back matches at the Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground, Chaguanas.

Action was in the Central Football Association (CFA) 2015 Premier League.

Cornwall got his name on the scoresheet in the 10th, 18th and 33rd minutes, while Trevon McIntosh (67th) and Lyndon Luke (78th) got the other items for Fire Service.

In the earlier match of the double-header, Christopher Samlal scored in the 37th minute as Leeds FC edged Enterprise Youths 1-0.

On Thursday, at the New Settlement Recreation Ground, Central Soccer World earned a narrow 2-1 win over Carapichaima Playmakers FC.

Jeron Francis put Central Soccer World in front after 22 minutes but Shaquille Weekes evened up the scores in the 44th.

However, Central Soccer World sealed full points in the 66th courtesy of a strike from Dennis Hunte.

And, on Saturday, Harlem Strikers recorded a come-frombehind 2-1 victory over Perseverance Ball Runners FC at the Frederick Settlement Recreation Ground.

David Maloney put Perseverance Ball Runners ahead after nine minutes of play but Harlem responded with the equaliser from Daniel Wells in the 21st and Runel Lynch four minutes later.

In related news, Chaguanas FC have been disqualified from the League and, as a result, their opening round match against Enterprise Youths FC, which ended 4-1 in Chaguanas’ favour, has been declared null and void.
