Four days after returning to the top of the standings, Westside Superstarz, was dealt the blow of the season when it slumped to a 5-0 whipping to Stokely Vale in the blink/bmobile National Super League (NSL), yesterday.

Stokely Vale, playing at home at the Plymouth Recreation Ground, got right back into the title chase with the victory, after reducing the deficit between fourth place and the top to only four points. WASA FC, which shared the lead with Westside Superstarz, had its fixture against Eagles postponed, due to a shortage of officials.

Rundel Winchester scored the opener minutes before the break. Onasi Forde then doubled up with a strike at the stroke of halftime, for a comfortable 2-0 lead. Five minutes after the restart, Trevon James added a third, which was followed by a second for both Winchester and Forde in the 65th and 71st minutes respectively.
