In the team’s first action in two weeks, and in their first Heartland Conference game of the young season, the Univeristy of the Incarnate Word men’s soccer team defeated cross-city rival, St. Mary’s, 2-0 on Friday evening.

Sophomore midfielder Matt D'Amico (Germantown, MD/Northwest) scored a pair of goals and assisted on another to help lead Shepherd University to a 5-2 win over Seton Hill in WVIAC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Thursday afternoon.

After 110 minutes of back-and-forth action and twice finding themselves trailing, the Davidson men’s soccer team battled the University of Alabama-Birmingham to a 2-2 tie Friday evening in the opening match of the Nike Invitational at Charlotte’s Transamerica Field.

UNCP used a 14th minute goal by Rondell Honora to get the better end of a very defensive first half, but Carlos Cipriano broke the game wide open with a pair of second half goals to give the visiting Braves a 3-0 win over Belmont Abbey Thursday evening at Alumni Field.
