Indiana University head men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley announced the addition of transfer Rashad Hyacenth to the team's roster.

Hyacenth will have two years of eligibility remaining and is eligible to compete for the Hoosiers starting in the 2016 season.

"We are excited to have Rashad join our program," IU head coach Todd Yeagley remarked. Rashad possesses strong physical and technical qualities. He plays with passion and confidence and will be a great addition to our attack. Rashad has scored some big goals over the past two seasons and we are excited to integrate Rashad into our program heading into the 2016 fall season."

A two-year standout at forward for Belmont University, Hyacenth was named Second-Team All-Horizon League in 2015 after tying for second in the conference with seven goals. During his sophomore campaign, Hyacenth appeared in 18 games with 16 starts, totaling 14 points, 69 shots and 29 shots on goal.

Among Hyacanth's numerous highlights in 2015 include two-goal performances against Lipscomb in the season opener and against Georgia State.

As a freshman at Belmont in 2014, Hyacenth earned 16 starts in 18 matches, recording two goals and an assist to earn Horizon League All-Freshman Team honors. Hyancenth totaled five points on the season and took 30 shots for the Bruins.

Hyacenth will join a highly-touted, six-member recruiting class for the Hoosiers in 2016. IU returns nine starters from 2015 when the Hoosiers posted a record of 13-5-3, reaching the NCAA Tournament for a record 29-straight season and 40th overall in program history.

IU earned a national seed for the 11th time in the last 13 years, beating UConn before falling to No. 1 Wake Forest in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.
