With her two shutouts, Keri Myers (JR/Carapichaima, Trinidad & Tobago) wins Red River Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday.

In Thursday's 2-0 victory over Louisiana State University-Alexandria, Myers stopped eight shots to post her first shutout of the season. Saturday at Texas A&M-University-Texarkana, Myers made four saves and three were against the RRAC top scorer Samantha Sharpnack-Isom in Wiley's 2-0 victory.

Through seven games, Myers has posted a 1.09 goals against average – which is third in the RRAC. Her two shutouts give her three for her career. She is the first Lady Wildcat to win a RRAC Player of the Week Award this season. This is the first time a Lady Wildcat has won Defensive Player of the Week since 2014.

The Lady Wildcats (4-2-1, 2-1-1) enter this week in fourth-place in the Red River Athletic Conference standings. They host Paul Quinn College and the University of the Southwest.
