CNG Super League Premier Division duo, Guaya United and Petrotrin Palo Seco will lock horns in the CNG Super League Knockout final after earning last gasp semifinal wins in their respective matches at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva on Sunday.
And in the second semifinal, Petrotrin Palo Seco, also left it late to get past Championship Division, sceond placed club, T&T Prisons, 2-1.
After a tight first 45 minutes, Willian Garcia fired Petrotrin Palo Seco ahead in the 67th but Prisons got on level terms four minutes through Lance Haynes, however Garcia had the last say as he netted in stoppage time to earn his team 2-1 victory as well. The final is set for Sunday at a venue to be decided with the winner to collect $100,000 and runner-up $50,000 while the two losing semifinalists, will get $25,000 each.
