JESSIE EDWARDS and Akil London notched hat-tricks for their respective teams as Club Sando Moruga outscored Harlem Strikers in Round One of the Trinidad and Tobago Super League’s (TTSL) League Cup on Wednesday.
Club Sando came out 4-3 winners in the contest.
In what was easily the best match of the day, an own goal by Harlem’s Keston Raphael put Club Sando ahead after 25 minutes, only for London to draw Harlem level after 35.
Edwards then scored in the 41st, 43rd and 55th minutes and Club Sando appeared to be cruising home at 4-1; but London got his second goal in the 71st and completed his hat-trick in stoppage time as Sando barely held out for the win.
