Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA will continue the defence of its T&T Football Federation FA Trophy title against Joe Public’s Eastern Football Association line-up on Wednesday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, in the second match of a double-header from 7 pm.

This was determined when the draw for the last-16 teams in the competition was made at Harvard Sports Club, Serpentine Road, yesterday. The “Morvant Stallions,” as Caledonia are called, began their defence with an 8-0 hammering of Petit Valley United on Wednesday, led by a Trevin Caesar hat-trick while Joe Public (EFA) whipped Youth Stars 5-1.
 
Defence Force, which was beaten in the FA final by Caledonia, also won 8-0 over Queen’s Park, inspired by a Michael Edwards hat-trick while Stokely Vale stunned T&T Pro League’s St Ann’s Rangers 3-2 in their matches.
 
In the other round-of-16 encounters scheduled for Wednesday, Mathura faces Cunupia, 1st FC Santa Rosa plays North East Stars, T&TEC battles Enterprise Youths, Pt Fortin Civic Centre is at home to Joe Public (Super League), OJ Soldado All Stars is at home to Shiva Boys’ Hindu College and Central FC faces the winner of the outstanding round-of-32 meeting between Roxborough Lakers and Police.
