The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association’s Annual General Meeting has been pushed back two weeks, following a motion raised by former FIFA referee instructor Osmond Downer yesterday at the National Cycling Centre, Couva. The AGM will now be reconvened on December 9.

Earlier in the day, at an Extraordinary General Meeting held at the same venue, Downer also successfully raised another motion to have a Compliance requirement for TTFA members further extended to March 31, 2018.

At the EGM, Downer raised a motion arguing that all 49 members of the TTFA Board were constitutionally entitled to be sent all documents concerning the AGM, and that the rights of some may have been violated by the TTFA in not issuing them (the members) notice of convocation, which sets the agenda of the meeting.
