WEST HAM boss Harry Redknapp has blasted the Trinidad and Tobago FA for making goalkeeper Shaka Hislop fly out for international duty before the weekend - while allowing Dwight Yorke to play for Manchester United on Sunday.
Hislop is needed for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Jamaica but Redknapp asked Trinidad coach Ian Porterfield if his keeper could play at Bradford tomorrow and fly out after the game.
The Trinidad manager turned him down, invoking the international five-day rule. But Porterfield is allowing Yorke to play for United and fly out after their game with Arsenal on Sunday.
Redknapp said: "How can that be right? How can it be fair? Good luck to Man Utd, they've got away with it but it is a scandalous decision. How can Yorke be allowed to play at 4pm on Sunday and Shaka can't play at 3pm on Saturday?
"You can't have one rule for them and another for us. They've chosen to help United but not West Ham."
