Yohance MarshallTrinidad and Tobago defender Yohance Marshall is on a trial at LA Galaxy the club of England's superstar David Beckham.
The 6-2 center back was a four-year starter at South Florida, helping lead the Bulls to the Big East title as a senior in 2008 and a berth in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals where they fell to Wake Forest. A native of Trinidad and a former member of the Trinidad and Tobago U-21 National Team.

Marshall led his local school side St. Anthony’s College to three intercollegiate championships while captaining the team in 2004. Was a member of his high school all-star team from 2004-05 and was honored as one of Trinidad High School's Top Five Players of the Year. But things weren't always on the up for Marshall as his hopes was dashed when he was undrafted in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft last month. Now LA Galaxy has given the talented defender a lifeline as the former St. Anthony's College student will now hope to impress LA coach and finally get his professional career on track.

As for the LA Galaxy, they will continue their preparation for the 2009 MLS season with a week of training at The Home Depot Center. The club, which will play it's first official preseason game on Wednesday, February 18 in the Pan-Pacific Championship, is now into its third week of training with 32 players currently in camp.
