IPSWICH Town boss Roy Keane has hit out at Dwight Yorke for the Trinidad & Tobago star's criticism of him in his autobiography.

“That must be Yorkey's second or third book. He must be stuck for a few bob!” quipped Keane.

“I don't agree with his criticism of my style of management (when the boss at Sunderland).

“I take on board those comments from people I respect, but I don't have any respect for him.

“He was quick to sign a new deal at Sunderland. He should put that in his book!” added Keane.

Town travel to Barnsley tomorrow, still looking for their first victory of the season to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke says management is on the agenda.

After announcing his retirement, following his release from Sunderland at the end of last season, Yorke has been considering his options.

He told TalkSport: “I’d like to think so. I think I’ve gained enough knowledge over the years. I feel that I’ve seen the changes in football to relate to players from a management point of view. I’m doing my badges – just completed my ‘B’ and going onto my ‘A’ – also just taken on the assistant job of the Trinidad national team.

"We can’t qualify for the World Cup so I asked to get some experience behind the scenes by being part of the set up there so that will put me in good stead for the future.

"For the next few games I am assistant manager, it keeps me busy in terms of keeping my badges and getting some experience behind my back.”
