Clayton Ince today insisted Walsall have the staying power to mount a serious play-off challenge.

The Saddlers moved up to seventh in League One, a point behind sixth placed Bristol Rovers, with a 3-1 win at Yeovil last night.

And Ince, who has seen Walsall fail from this position before, believes the young Saddlers are coming of age.

“In the past we haven’t be focused but now the players have shown it,” said the goalkeeper.

“In the past two seasons the guys have matured and realised we have to go all the way through.

“We’ve been in this position for the past two years and then the second half of the season fizzled out. We have to stay focused.”
