After scoring twice during the week, Kyle Bethel was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The senior forward from Howell, N.J. has now won the award in consecutive weeks.

Shade named AIC Player of the Week‏

Junior forward Mariah Shade (Los Bajos, Trinidad & Tobago) was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week, junior back Allie Fitzsimmons (West Springfield, Mass.) was named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week, and three other Yellow Jackets earned a spot on the Honor Roll after leading the American International College women's soccer team to a pair of wins last week.

Bacchus earns TranSouth's Offensive Player of the Week Award

The sixth TranSouth Athletic Conference men's soccer weekly awards have been announced, and this week the honors are split between Mid-Continent University and Bethel University. Keagan Bacchus of Mid-Continent earns the TranSouth's Offensive Player of the Week nod, while Bethel's Christopher Baker earns the Defensive Player of the Week honor. The honors are the first in each player's respective career, and are given for performances during the week ending October 7, 2012.
