As a member of Trinidad's National Team, Rahim has made only one World cup Qualifying appearance in 2001, coming off the bench as a substitute in the 65th minute in Trinidad's 3-0 loss to Costa Rica on March 28. Rahim will report back to the National Team on April 17, in preparation for their next qualifier vs. Mexico on April 25, in Port of Spain.
Rahim, a native of Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago led the University of Connecticut to the NCAA Championship in 2000. The 5-7, 160 pound Rahim was named to Trinidad and Tobago's 32-man player roster for the final round of World Cup Qualifying in 2001 after participating in the first round of qualifying in 2000. A member of the U-23 Trinidad National Team, Rahim participated in the 1999 U-23 Pan America Games in Canada. He was a two-time finalist for the Hermann Trophy (1999 and 2000), Big East Midfielder of the Year (2000) and the Missouri Athletic Club Player of the Year (1999).
