I thought it was Yolande Pompey vs. Dick Tiger as a boxing Encyclpedia said so. Turns out he lost a ten round decision to DT in a non title fight.

Jump into bed last night and then I remembered Carlos Marks.
Carlos challened Tony Mundine in Austrlia in 1973 - TWICE.
Once in August where he got tko'd and then in Sept. where he got robbed over 15 rounds. Mundine was so embarassed he gave him the belt but his handlers took it back. ;D

Actually, Matt Donovan fought Tony Mundine for the Commonwealth Middleweight Title on February 7th, 1973, so he is de one.
