Have to admit that this was well acted, but I'm not sure why it was so shocking.
I thought Ned's death was more shocking and disturbing than this.
We were more invested in him I thought.
I guess after he died, I was like expect anything.

Congrats to Japan! Alyuh really fought for alyuh country. Good job by the US, but they really got that far on mentality, bully tactics, and Wambach's monstrous play in the 18.

Where was the keeper diving to? She had near post covered, yet still diving that way.

Japan is well coached. Look how they add steel to their game in just a few days. They are jumping, hitting, and doing the necessaries to nullify the size advantage. It helps that the ref is calling a decent game.

ain't go lie, ah frighten for Brazil. The 2007 Brazil would mash up the US. 2011 Brazil not convincing yet. The US will try to kick/foul Marta, like they do in the WPSL. Plus women refs will put EPL refs to shame-all kinda wild blade passing unpunished, I shocked! Ah doh like this matchup. Hopefully I'm wrong.

No excuse for them not to play friendlies this year. This team rusty as hell. Even now at 3-0 up, they still not looking crisp. They need to use this as practice.

That outside the foot thru ball Marta give Christiane was a gem.

That Mexican hit that like she expected to score - ah like the confidence.

is dos santos the mexican ronaldinho?

that 4th goal was superb

why cant usa defend like that when we play them?

or

we dont have the ball brains to play like that?

you could say that, he does look like him but you have to remember that ronnie was his role model back when they were both back at Barcaleona. Also he and his brother is half mex/brasil. But his touches in the box def. reminded me of Dinho.

Doh forget he used to get plenty sweat in Rijkaard's Barca, so he know what it is to play for a big side. I think is ill-discipline or something throw him off.

Mexico overun de States from minute #1 yesterday. Slack defending caused them to go 2-0 down, but they were still dominating the game. They knock a nice quick brand, and swarmed the ball whenever they lost possession. If they could sort out there goalkeeping situation and defensive concentration, they can cause real damage in 2014.

**SPOILER ALERT - Do not read if you missed last Sunday's (06/12) episode**

I still cannot believe they allowed Ned to die. Never saw it coming and it is a terrible move. It may be part of the book (never read the books), but you find a way to let your star boy live. Especially in a TV series. They went overboard on the shock value dey. To me, they kill the show right there, since his was the most interesting character.
Looking forward to seeing what they do next, but I'd be surprised if they don't lose a lot of fans after this season.

That triangle passing thing that Barca does do real sweet.... de one whey does ketch ah man in it and have dem running like he crazy  :beermug:

Not just one man, DT, it's usually 2-3 men they bamboozle.
They consistently use triangles to create space, and they do it so successfully.
....for 90 mins, it is amazing.

Go ahead goal looked offside...

Chelsea having the nod of the Gods today so far.

They did have a penalty waved off though

Chelsea play today like they haven't played in a long long time. Real hustle and fight

If they had played with this fight, they would already have wrapped up the title.

From a big loss, to a draw, to a victory. Mourinho is a genius!
Give him 2-3 willing laborers in midfield, and some runners up front, and he will cause problems, just like when he had Inter.
Last weekend's draw really gave Real some confidence.
Now is real excitement for the next 2 games.

Btw: Arbeloa is a real wild man, long time now he kicking men down. If I was Villa ah woulda cuff him in he face.
