It was like  Backs and Forwards in the second Half. We had them on the Back foot. Congrats for the Fight and victory. USA cant deal with a Physical Team.

Angus - T&T must have the Defenders To Play Like Leicester City. Too much Pressure with that Style of Play and too much work for the Gold keeper. The Final Twenty Minutes of  the game against Curacao is the style of play To win matches.

Congrats and a good three points . We are giving the opposition too much time on the ball in our third. I like the Moore/ Telfer  up front. Someone  in midfield needs to take the ball and run into the opposition  Third. Hackshaw and Auvray did it and created problems for the centre backs.Leandro Bacuna got player of the match and Hackshaw got a 7.5 rating Rampersad 7.4 and David a 7.4. Source FOTMOB.

Under -!5 should be kept together and then Become the Under -19. No quick Fix. Think of Panama and Uruguay. A developmental Stage.

Look at the Jamaican Team that Drew with France. Most of the squad play in Hungary, Spain , England and the USA. Why cant we attract Players who are playing at a higher Level. What is our Scouting Team Doing?

They Had two weeks in Florida , so no excuse. They looked Bad against Jamaica, offered some hope in the second half. They they could not get it right against a USA B team. Remember the Peter Principle .We are still talking about Local / Foreign Coaches. My Friends it is not where the money coming from , it is Where the Money going to? I am amazed at the lack of Basics from our Defenders.

Here we go again- Heartache. Good First Half

and then we bun in the second.Stupid Politics again he played Winchester because he from Tobago. We were passing the ball around nicely but too slow in transition.I am amazed that Eve was surprised at Nicaragua tactics having played Central America, Latin  America and South America teams in his playing days, Same S___another day.

Playing with 10 women for the second half, there was a lot of fight and character with this women's team.
Congrats- Check the Concacaf Site for highlights.

Look at where Panama is at the moment . They started building a youth team and having performed at the Youth Level, Some of them got contracts in The USA set up. A philosophy of what kind of ball they want to play and all age groups playing the same style. Gally Cummings pleaded for this format many years ago. We have to stop recycling , just look at Costa Rica and an aging squad.

Having looked at Panama vs Honduras and the speed and movement . I looked at the first half and saw the backward passes and the slow pace except for the goal . Then no Molino , Muskeete, Ryan.
It was just the thought that I would not be seeing my beloved team for a long time in a competitive tournament that had me tuned in. Eve Tried but not ready for this level. Financially it may make sense to keep  him but we are back to the same narrative - Hire a foreign coach near Competition time.
The more things change the more they remain the same.

asylumseeker - You are quite a wordsmith. Very Philosophical and words of wisdom.  I like the line that reads philosophically . the idea of restoring the  faith of the fan base in national football via the means proposed was at odds with product quality , was a gem. I liked the fight and passion of the second half that gives me hope for the future. My Question still remains is Angus the man to change our fortunes.

What is the verdict about Angus Eve. Is he to continue to be part of the rebuilding process?
I guess the economic factor will determine the way Forward.

We need some one in the midfield to take the ball and move it forward with Speed . I thought Muckette was the player who can do that but he was invisible in that game. We played better in the second half with Joseph up front . Too little too late.

I saw Him In the Last game- Reminds me OF THE LITTLE MAGICIAN. busy in midfield and willing to go to goal in the final third. Yesterday Hackshaw and The Captain looked good in midfield so he may have to come off the bench, if Angus is playing two in midfield.

Strange - No one commented on the Technical team . I thought The Federation had financial problems.
Why do we need a manager as well as a National Team Director .Let us not ask about the Physiotherapist as well as a massage therapist. Some folks are on a joy ride.

I share your views Kounty. Muckette needs to take the ball and run with it , while making the transition from Defence to attack. The wingers need to take on men one to one and go to Goal. the new fellas look promising. A work in Progress.
