Ah was liming wid one of our U23 coaches an he say he surprised people eh bawlin fuh blood after dat loss, like dey would have if Latapy was coach.  He also mentioned attire (Fister wearin cut up/ converted jeans shorts and T-shirts normal) and smoking on the bench as things Lataz and other local coaches would be chided for that Fister and other foreigners seem to get away with.  So my question is, is he right?  Do we allow foreign coaches far more leeway than our locals?

Liverpool, Red Sox owners agree to sale

LONDON -- Liverpool's board agreed to sell the debt-riddled Premier League club to the owners of the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday, but may have to take legal action to force out the existing American owners.

Current co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett Jr. have already said they will resist the bid from New England Sports Ventures, which owns the Red Sox, and a separate bid from Asia.

Hicks and Gillett said the Boston bid -- and one from an unidentified Asian investor -- "dramatically undervalue" the 18-time English champions.

Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton said the Red Sox owners have offered to pay $477 million, which is only likely to cover the debts and bank charges stemming from the leveraged 2007 takeover by Hicks and Gillett.

Despite the opposition of Hicks and Gillett, who own all the shares in Liverpool, Boston's offer was accepted by the three non-owner board members: Broughton -- who was hired by Hicks and Gillett in April to sell the club -- plus managing director Christian Purslow and commercial director Ian Ayre.

The Premier League said in a statement it should be ready to approve the takeover by Friday.

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is ready to shatter their transfer record with a £12million bid for Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones.

Hotline understands Pulis is planning an audacious bid to tempt Sunderland boss Steve Bruce into parting with the powerful 24-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international.

Pulis was prepared to pay £15m for Tottenham's Darren Bent before he signed for Bruce at the Stadium of Light - and now he's prepared to spend big to land Jones - who scored two against Blackburn yesterday.

A £12m Wearside raid would comfortably eclipse the £5.5m Stoke paid Reading for Dave Kitson a year ago.


Although Bruce was singing Jones' praises recently, it is understood he would be prepared to let the former Southampton hitman go - at the right price.


Pulis already has a clutch of former Sunderland stars at the Britannia Stadium, recently adding Dean Whitehead to a list which includes Rory Delap, Danny Higginbotham, Liam Lawrence and Thomas Sorensen.


The Potters boss reckons he needs more firepower for this season to take the load off James Beattie, Richard Cresswell and Kitson - giving Stoke a better chance of repeating last season's succesful return to the Premier League.


Jones scored vital goals last season to help struggling Sunderland stay in the top-flight and Pulis believes he can do the same for Stoke.

We Hate Kenwyne Jones <kenwyneJonesHaters>

Kenwyne Jones is the worst striker in the premier league he cost Sunderland 6million and he has only scored 7 premier league goals in 28 appearances and has not been subsituted once or even started on the bench. Even though he has alot of assists to his name this season with 9 but he gets several chances himself every game and he doesnt hit the back of the net.
There was stupid speculations of him joining liverpool for 12million plus Peter Crouch who is much better then Kenwyne in the first place. If you ask me Rafa Benitez had a few to many that night.
He is a 6ft2 monster and he cant even get goals by using his height. HE HAS NO PACE, HE HAS A SHIT SHOT, HE IS NOT SKILLFUL. he is so poo.
I would prefer Derby Countys Kenny Miller then Trindad & Tobago crap star Kenwyne Joel Jones
