Hey Haters! Long time no see. ;D ;D

Anyway. Here's the link for the Bermuda vs Guatemala WCQ:

Enjoy. And see you in the Fourth Round.

Perhaps.
Nice!!!! But no "PERHAPS". And since T&T is in another group in the Fourth Round. We will see you in the HEX. ;) ;)

Best of luck Jamaica2099.. I want to see you guys in the next round. But things just went from bad to worse for you guys:

http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/sport/Barnes-out--Austin-doubtful-for-Nicaragua-return_19227568

Looks like Barnes is out because he cant play on artificial turf. And Austin is not even in Managua.
I don't see a problem. We have more than enough Reggae Boyz to fill those positions and get 3 goals or more.

You serious? Barnes and Austin are probably the best players on the team. Both had outstanding Gold cup and Copa performances. It would be foolish to think that this is not a devastating blow. Perhaps your resiliency will see you through to the next round. I agree with Redman.. One Nica goal will f00k things up for you guys. So I hope you guys get 3 goals.. Because youre going to need 3 to go through.
Look carefully at this Reggae Boyz roster:

http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=274851/match=300334096/index.html#nosticky

Now tell me which of these Boyz did not play a role bigger than Austin and Barnes?

What can I say? Nothing really because there's nothing to be sad or happy about.  ::)

Well! We will meet again in the 2014 Caribbean Cup. :chilling: 8)

I'MMMMM BAAACCCCCKKKKKK! ;D ;D :D :D ;) ;) ;)

;D

I forgot about the match until Grimm had finished at 10:00 pm. Then I remembered and when to Futbol24 to check the score. Jamaica 0- T&T 1.
Nonchalantly, "Jamaica lose 1 nil." I told my girlfriend.
She shrugged, "Ehh!" Looking up from her ebook for a second. "Jamaica will win in T&T and all will be square."
"Yeah! You right." I put the laptop down on the table and sat down to watch another exciting episode of Person of Interest.

Now time for another win for the Reggae Boyz since the 2-1 loss against T&T on May 17 2001. :challenge:

People, I need the number of a psychologist.....

Does T&T have Caribbean Cup Finals jinx or something?

Haiti in 2007, and now this?
shit does happen ......we did good considering

True. In a way, it's a good thing they lost. Because that brand of football should not be rewarded with a trophy. They have some work to do. This two coach experiment has to be done away with immediately. It may have seemed to work, but I can't see it working against stronger opposition.

Now some people might fire yuh up for saying that eh, but breds I totally agree wid yuh.

Please get us ah good coach (foreign!!!!) so we don't end up going and embarrassing weself in de GC....and nobody here could say dat Shabazz and Charles ready, no matter if yuh is friend or foe, after watching dat madness, yuh have to know dem fellahs eh have ah clue.

I sure it have plenty men (and ah talking bout ballas and actual coaches eh) on dis site know in dey heart dey coulda do ah better job coaching dis team than dese fellahs just did?

Back to de drawing board I guess...

Or maybe it could have something to do with the thought of Jamaica's Reggae Boyz being knock out the Cup at the first round that affected the Soca Warriors. Just like in 2007 where T&T had a chance to put their hands on the Caribbean Cup for their 9th title.
Better luck in 2014. .....Although the Reggae Boyz won't miss consecutive Gold Cups so it's hard to say when that 9th title will come.

Remorseful Boyz take blame

DEEP BAY, Antigua — One good thing coming out of Jamaica's distasteful performance at the CFU Caribbean Cup is that the players have pointed the finger of blame on themselves.
They sought no excuses for crashing out of the tournament that they entered as defending champions as the worst performing team with only a point, which effectively entombed them to the preliminary stage.

Nice.  ;D Jamaica and T&T have something to boast about. Although Jamaica have more.
My next prediction is the Reggae Boyz will qualify for a second World Cup before T&T. And Jamaica will not miss consecutive qualifying for the Gold Cup like T&T because the 2014 Caribbean Cup will also be used as preparation for the 2014 World Cup.....and the trophy will be Jamaica's for the sixth time.

Where did all the yardies go?  ;D
Here I am. With the Reggae Boyz squad that we had my bold statement remains the same. Unfortunately, most of the players seeking a spot on the World Cup squad will be dropped. Weaknesses exposed.

So no Gold Cup for the Reggae Boyz in 2013 like the Soca Warriors in the past 2 Caribbean Cups. The only comfort is knowing that the Reggae Boyz are still capable of qualifying for the World Cup.

So friendlies will have to do before and during the Gold Cup.

Boyz begin defence of CFU CC title against French Guiana

DEEP BAY, Antigua — Jamaica kickstart their CFU Caribbean Championship against French Guiana this evening with one thing in mind: the defence of their title.
In fact, the hunt is made more mouthwatering as they take aim at three back-to-back titles.

Game time is at 7:00 pm (6:00 pm Jamaica time) at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium, a ground named after the outstanding Antiguan batsman.
Head coach Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore, a former seasoned campaigner at the regional level, said he expects every game in the tournament to be testy with the Reggae Boyz being the current kings of Caribbean football.

Engineer at Antigua Recreation Ground tries to chase T&T senior footballers off the ground by driving his vehicle and parking where the session was taking place, forcing players to back off and remove their gears and equipment... his claim was no one was supposed to be using the facility while he and his workmen completed the installation of lights at the venue. The T&T team trained for 45 mins today.
This should be reported to fifa immediately! don't sleep on this TTFF, and if necessary antigua barbuda should be banned ASAP!!

file the report now!!

them antiguans is real cavemen, them and bajans are the most obnoxious and nasty ppl in the world, real hoggish and outatimin those people.

One would hope that a pronouncement from le nouveau president de la TTFF is forthcoming.

Dont know if anyone needs to be punished...seems more like a mixup in communication between the TTFF and the tournament hosts to me. I saw some huge cranes in the background...not a good idea to have players on the field in those conditions.  Assuming the T&T management team did their due diligence in communicating with the authorities and being cleared to use the venue at the time they showed up, then it would appear to be a break-down in communication between the authorities and the engineering folks....Did the authorities give the go-ahead for the t&t team to train at a venue that is being repaired and thus unsafe for training? Thats the question that needs to be answered. The engineer guy cannot take blame here...he did the right thing by requesting no training while his crew make the repairs..

Agree that no one should be. With the limited resources already. We should know what to expect, but it not be consisent:

 Boyz trod along despite foul-ups.

DEEP BAY, Antigua — When Jamaican team officials were yesterday forced to assemble a goal when they arrived for training at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium it was seen as an indication that organisation here is not quite spot on.
The facility, which will see defending champions the Reggae Boyz opening their account at the CFU Caribbean Champiosnhip, was properly marked out for this evening’s game. But where were the goalposts? That was the question on everybody’s lips.
After a search, the goal posts were discovered at a corner of the property in a disassembled state. But since the show must go on irrespective, technical director Walter Gama, masseur Pablo Camargo, manager Roy Simpson and others trudged with the heap of metal to its location before beginning to put it all together.

'Bibi' is back! Gardner recalled to Boyz set-up for Caribbean Cup

IN a surprising move, 34-year-old Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardner has been recalled to the Reggae Boyz squad for the upcoming Caribbean Cup tournament after a three-year absence.
Gardner, along with fellow England-based Keammar Daley and the USA-based duo of Ryan Johnson and Omar Cummings, is expected to join the Jamaican camp, assistant coach Alfredo Montesso told the Jamaica Observer yesterday at a training session at the JFF Technical Centre as the team finetunes for the defence of their Caribbean title between December 7-16.

Reggeafan i feel you just jealous bc you guys have to depend on foreign players and we don't.

i tellin you this, yuh see if we didn't have jack warner leaning on football and not doing the right thing to develop the game on the both islands, and we had a visionary running football the past 30 yrs instead who build academies and pushed football hard, we would have been the uraguay of concacaf.

you have no idea how important football was to trinbagonians eh?? listen fella, you ain't never seen football the way i saw it when i was coming up, and i will go as far as to say that the T&T you seeing today is bullsh!t as far as football is concerned.

i talking about a three mile square area (the queens park savannah) full of ppl playing football, uniforn decorating the whole savannah especially on a sataurday morning on through to the going down of the sun, that how much football was big in T&T, and one man spoil dat for his own personal gain.

IMO if we start developing football in trinbago the right way, we would never need another foreign based player in our ranks, that's how much natural talent we have on our islands.
Nope! Jealousy is the other way around. You always conveniently forget to mention that 98% of our "foreign" Reggae Boyz are Jamaicans born and bred from our own non-pro league club system compared to T&T's Pro League.

So why is it that Jamaicans get more foreign club contracts than T&T is the million dollar question you should ask yourself.

It seems even the US is sweating over the same thing in a thread headline by one of your own newspaper:

This iz why i doh like tuh talk tuh allyuh yard fowls, allyuh always runnin tuh defend allyuh fackin flag like if somebody trying tuh rape allyuh of something!!!

i just tell de fackin idiot byoi dat birchall iz not near one of our better players! in fact nuff trinis doh rate birchall and righfully so, he's pretty basic.

right now we have hector , molino, J.jones, jagdeosingh, guerra, and hyland, and IMO would do ah much better job than birchall, so he doh know what de fack he talking bout!

as for all this jamaica better than trinidad slop chop! we have, count then, eight fackin caribbean cup titles under our belts and when allyuh win nine, come back and fackin talk to me about who better than who, as ah matter of fact i not even in that simpleton argument.

ah know allyuh tribal jamaicans love fight down fackin ting so i would not even go there wid allyuh! keep thinking allyuh better than everybody else.

one more thing, we don't need foreign "born" players like allyuh, and that's all i said, and we don't! so why i gettin all this talk about, what i said did not warrant all this long talk?

all i said iz that we have enough talented players who was born and bred in T&T, and we do, we don't need foreign born and bred product, we just need academies and proper training and coaching schools to develop our players from an early age and we will be fine..
Don't start a subject if you cannot handle the TRUTH!
I thought T&T had more academies and football fields than all the Caribbean nations. Didn't T&T host a World Cup in their own backyard. I don't think FIFA would have allowed a World Cup to be held with non-standard football fields even with all the clouth that Jack Warner had at the time. ???

Jack Warner was still in charge when T&T did not qualify for the last two Gold Cups. So that's the main reason for T&T's football on a high and not TTFF administration's fault. Jack was T&T's football Sugar Daddy. ;D
Fortunately, for Jamaica we have football elections where at one stage Captain Burrell was voted out and replaced by Jamaica's worst football President Creston Boxhill. Under his tenure Jamaica's ranking plummeted to an all time low of #116 even Jack turned him down to play a friendly. :D But I doubt a 70th rank T&T would have beaten the Reggae Boyz.

Boyz look to Carib Cup as WCQ warm-up.

THE CFU Caribbean Cup slated for Antigua and Barbuda next month maybe the only practice exercise the Reggae Boyz will get ahead of the six-nation CONCACAF World Cup qualifying series set to start on February 6 next year.
With the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) failing to secure a warm-up match on the last FIFA date of November 14, and with the prospects of landing one looking bleak before the final-six phase of qualifying begins, the regional tournament has taken on added significance.

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz have been drawn in Group A of the Caribbean Football Union's (CFU) Caribbean Cup, along with French Guiana, Cuba and the Dominica Republic and a strong 30-man squad will be named on Friday, assistant coach Alfredo Montesso told the Jamaica Observer yesterday.

First order of business, if you want to banter with me you must have sensible "MATURE GROWN" interaction, non of this kiddie, "my team is better than your team" horse shit! i not in dat impsey discussion, so that you know, the minute you go in that direction i'll be fackin out!!!

now for some facts. T&T missed two gold cups, not bc we could not field ah team that was able to get us there, but bc we had two stubborn asreholes runnin we football who was banning players and not spending money on practice matches.

the first gold cup we missed after the world cup appearance was in 2008 degicel cup when maturana decided that he doesn't need MLS or eruopean based players, so he went with an all local squad and ah few old has beens like dwarika, and kenyo thomas with ah couple of rookies who had very little international experience so we ate licks, fine we deserved to lose.

latapy came after and did the very same thing, only he went with a 70% local squad, and chose ah bunch of rookies for the challenge and ignored ah few players who was available for the tourney who was on break from their league, plus the federation gave the boys very little practice games as always. so ah totally clueless latapy and ah bunch of rookie equals, licks again.

now all this time we was eatin licks, jamaica was fielding ah bomb squad as always, MLSers and scandinavian based for the most part, so did grenada, so did guadelope and antigua barbuda, but is pure locals we went with and one or two MLSers for two degicel cups.

now baba says he will strengthen the squad, and he will. expect man like hyland, and molino off ah great season, peltier another player off a great season. roberts who might be 50 50 to appear, we could also see jones and carlos edwards, expect to also see cornell glenn and cordell cato, we will also have daniel cyrus and robert primus. trust meh, dem men (the coach and the federation president) don't want to miss another gold cup, and we wont!

as for who will stop jamaica, don't just look @ us alone, antigua barbuda is no push overs @ home and you should know that better than anyone else. so is french guyana with all them french boys in their team, martinique also has ah french contingent this time around, so it's no more paved way to victory, in this tourney jamaica will have to earn their cup.
Know what! You got me.
The fact is T&T have 8 Caribbean Cup trophies while Jamaica are back to back Champions with five Caribbean Cup trophies in their cabinet.
I know that the facts have not changed about other Caribbean teams wanting to beat Jamaica. So the Reggae Boyz will know what to expect.
How about T&T. How is the fear showing from the other Caribbean teams like Grenada, Guyana etc.. :)

JFF, Reggae Boyz Running Scared

Tony Becca ON THE BOUNDARY

Jamaica's footballers are about to begin their final hunt for a place in the World Cup finals of 2014, and for them, it's one of three places from six teams to get to the championship.
That is a glorious opportunity. Jamaica have a good chance of getting there, at least statistically.

The Jamaicans, however, are nervous. After narrowly qualifying for this round, edging out Guatemala on goal difference in the previous round, Jamaica now line up with Mexico, the United States of America, Costa Rica, Panama, and Honduras to battle for the three places.

YESTERDAY'S resignation of the enigmatic striker Marlon King from international football was indeed a bombshell, but the mission to lure old and new players to the Reggae Boyz cause continues apace.

Yet! Yesterday you jumped off the wagon and gave up all hope of the Reggae Boyz advancing to the HEX.
You don't have to tell me what changed your mind. The faithful already knows why. :violin:
star it was dimm but look pon the post and see who started it..  a me dat ..  anytime you depend on another team to take you thru it is putting you destination in there hands.. I personally believe it was bad football by USA because playing Jamaica weather it is in Kingston or america it nuh easy.. as I have said many many times if Jamaica  run the ball they will win once dey sit back and waiting for counter attack story dun., in other words they will loose.. Tappa have this mentaly that one point is good away from home.. Play hard  this is not the professor team he had back in 98, Ja defence no good  at this present time... jamaica have the striking attack to demolish anyteam right a bout now in concacaf..

Nice spin! However  :bs:. You started that thread on November 16, 2011 after FIFA had made the draw and the Reggae Boyz were months away from their first match.
You capitulated on the Reggae Boyz on the same day of the final match on October 16, 2012. Exactly 11 months after the World Cup qualification draw.
But nice to see you on the bandwagon again. However limited your support is.

I dont expect Jam to win away at any of those teams...maybe a draw at Panama

they have to win all 5 home games, which I doubt

Mex to top the group, USA 2nd, CR and Hon 3rd and 4th
Ah tell yuh one thing though, none ah dem eh getting no points in jamaica either.

Jamaica obviously have a lot of work to do, our preparation for the Hex starts next month with a game in Kingston vs Paraguay...but, I also believe we must now say goodbye to Whitmore in his role as head coach. I don't think he is a bad guy at all, but I think he perhaps has reached his peak, and maybe, just maybe, we need a more experienced man to help us navigate the better teams that we will find in the HEXAGON. Add to that is the list of players in the UK who are eligible to play for Jamaica, and for some reason being given the cold shoulder. Nyron Nosworthy, arguably Jamaica's best defender these rounds have for about 5 years been ignored by the JFF until they finally called him in out of desperation. We have to call our BEST players available, or watch our team finish LAST in the hex if we are not careful. Yes, it would be nice to have a Jamaican coach and 100% domestic league players, sadly, Jamaica doesn't have the talent locally to compete with the top teams in CONCACAF. There are no easy teams in the HEX, everyone will have to lift their game.
So our local coach Tappa should be fired to be replace by another foreign coach. Where did all those experience foreign coaches take the Reggae Boyz where Tappa has not?
RF, It sickens me when we chose to get rid of our local coaches who are doing a much better job with limited resources and less pay than these so-call "experience" foreign coaches whom seem to think they are here on vacation. Remember Bora :cursing:
And it's even worse when most of these opinions are from Jamaicans who live overseas hence the "foreign mentality."
Tappa is doing the job he was contracted to do. Jamaica's Reggae Boyz have qualify for the HEX. Next up is the Digicel Cup to qualify Jamaica for the 2013 Gold Cup.
The team is playing for Jamaica and Tappa. Allow our local "inexperience" coach to finish the job he was given with our full support.

Nervous! Why should I be nervous!!!!! The Reggae Boyz are in the best position as they should ever be in. Success through adversity will see the Reggae Boyz score more than the necessary goals needed and advance to the HEX.
With the lackluster performance of their team in the qualifiers Klinnsman will want nothing more than a win. So will the US players whom are seeking selection spots on the team.
Success through luck and chance...your destiny is no longer in your hands.
Oh! if only that were true. Destiny has given the Reggae Boyz a chance to qualify for the HEX. It is indeed in their hands.
