I feel Keron Cummings should get a call up by Fenwick.

He have been doing very well for LH Rangers.

I know he is 31, but if he still performing well, I said he should get a shot.

I agree ....

Not gonna debate whether he can still bring something meaningful to the team or not......however based on one of the first comments made by Fenwick re: collective age of team i'm thinking Fenwick might be looking in another direction

1. Please re-read the releases before publication, TTFA. There have been errors in 2 of the last 3 and less than 5 have been released. Make that happen.

2. Ramdhan? I can see that. Congrats to Ramdhan! One of your colleagues (Marco Antonio Rodriguez) became a coach, you can serve football as a GS.

3. A "majority decision" to remove DL? In other words it wasn't unanimous? Who could possibly be blinkered despite the evidence?

frienism and famleeism, is ah trini ting, how are you at facing down yuh real pardnahs and dem, even if yuh know it right ???, how much yuh want to bet dat minority eh base dey decision on nutten tangible or sound in DL favor......."dais my fren" is serious currency in dese parts

Abstaining is a crafty tool and it's a particularly useful protective tool given that there should be documented minutes of the meeting.

Both sell outs are gone now

Hart reinstatement and Jones out of retirement needs to happen

Ranjitsingh and other keeper in Europe to be in squad with Cummings and Jones etc

It’s coming together

KJ said he requires surgery to even attempt to play at that level. He also said that that not happening. Leave the man in his retirement

Didn't stop Belgium from hiring Roberto Martínez after he got fired at Everton. Same way it have players whose performances for country are better than for their club, and vice versa.

I not even clamoring for Hart's return, because our football environment is even more toxic now than when dey ruh him.
i doubt that he would want to be back after all the law suits and the shabby way he was treated. that man has a lot of pride and principle so i seriously doubt any chance of his return. what we do need is a foreign coach from either south or Central America, a coach who understands our region and the style of play,
preferably a Spanish coach speaking coach English from the mexico argentina or columbia (not maturana).

Not impressed with LP

I agree. What are your reasons?
I'm trying to figure out what exactly is his role on the field. Is he a holding midfielder, creative midfielder? Doesnt add anything to the attack and non existent defensively. Frankly he just seems to be the 11th player on the pitch.

I've watched a couple Minn games on ESPN since Molino's return and in each game there was a moment or two where Molino will play an pinpoint one-touch forward pass splitting the defense for a teammate on run onto. He's been doing it consistently.Even Taylor Twellman applauded the accuracy and timing on his passes during the commentary.

Yet ...

(Why yuh think that's happening?)

He cannot do it for us, because it doh have nobody to pass it to. Plus, we tend to use him more as a major goalscoring threat, so he does be de one looking to receive de pass.

However, Lawrence took offence to calls headed by Look Loy, a former national player and coach, for him to step down, saying, "Had I taken his advice then, I wouldn't be where I am today. When I was 15-years-old, that was the same guy who said to me, you would not make it in football. I didn't take his advice then.

In 1998, while serving as Joe Public's Technical Director, that team was beaten 8-0 by DC United in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, but he (Look Loy) did not resign then, instead, he got another promotion."

According to Lawrence, Look Loy, the former FC Santa Rosa coach, was also appointed manager of the country's youth teams in 1999, where, in three consecutive games the side was beaten by six goals, but still he was promoted a second time to the country's senior team as an assistant, where there were also unfavourable results.

Disappointed by Look Loy's insistence that he is not the man for the T&T coaching job, Lawrence said Look Loy was then elevated to the position of technical adviser and appointed a German coach who failed to get T&T to the Hex stage of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Yuh see this is why  he not stepping down

Im disappointed by this response from DL. Pointing fingers at this stage is unproductive. Seems like an axe is out the toolshed

pull stones, I disagree with you on Dwight. Dwight did quite well and succeeded. Could have lasted longer at ManU? Maybe. But Dwight did it all.
deeks Dwight did it on raw talent and his love for the game but if Dwight had actually put his shoulders to the wheel and put the boozing the partying and the fraternizing behind him and seriously worked on his craft that boy would have been the absolute king of the hill, that dude had it all and I mean all that it takes to be the best baller ever, that is why sir Alex was sore at him because he saw the potential in Dwight to be the best ever.

Ask Floyd mayweather what was the secret to his success and he will be sure to let you know that it was dedication to his craft and less bullshiting with his mates, in fact ask any great athlete Micheal jordon -Lionel Messi - christiano ronaldo- usain bolt- those lads put in the over time mate, it’s not guess work it’s actual science.

Stern and Latapy also had what it took to have a very long and successful careers in the sport, do you know how hard it is to score 69 international goals? That’s a mega achievement in case you didn’t know. if stern was actually dedicated to his craft people would still be talking about him instead of phenomeno. our boys survive only on raw talent and it’s time they learn to put in the extra work that would afford them better ball control concentration and foot to eye coordination which only comes with constant practice.

I disagree. Dwight did put in the hard work. I remember reading an article after a GC win, while the team was celebrating downstairs Yorke was absent. The reporter went to his room only to realise Dwight was working out in his room before coming down to celebrate.

There were other instances right in Tobago while on vacation Dwight would be seen training early in the morning. So to say Dwight wasnt king of the hill because of a lack of dedication to craft is an extreme exaggeration in my opinion.

Alex may not have approved of the lifestyle Yorke was pushing off the field and used that against him, but Yorke has always been dedicated to his craft. Look at the time at Sunderland ....Yorke at 35 was rated the fittest player at the club.

So a 40 man roster to choose from....but only 4 forwards make the cut as compared to 8 from the US

Goal scoring seems to not be on the agenda

In 2015, we had 5 foreign-based players of 10 forwards/forward-compatible players named in our provisional squad. For this provisional squad, we have 3 foreign-based players out of 5 Fs named but they are other forward-compatible players who are not listed strictly among the forwards. Nonetheless, I think you raise a sound observation based on everything we have seen since March 2017.

In 2015, SH selected both Winchesters, Kenwyne, Glenn, Caesar, Devon Jorsling, Guerra, Peltier, Plaza and Kadeem Corbin to the provisional squad.

At that time, Rundell Winchester was foreign-based and so too were Glenn, Caesar, Peltier and Kenwyne. Shahdon, Plaza, Corbin, Guerra and Jorsling were local-based.

Of the Fs, only Shahdon Winchester, Guerra, Peltier and Plaza are returnees from the 2015 provisional squad. Of these 4, the last three were in the eventual final 23 in 2015.

There is no question that the 2019 configuration of the F line is porous in some way, but I think you don't need a microscope to identify how the sacrificial lambs were sacrificed.

There was a time when we would have presumed that players operating in Central America in a top flight and producing goals there would have been well-placed for NT selection.

Again. From a 40 man roster with 4 forwards.......only 1 make the final 23 man cut. And based of the last warm up against Japan that single lone forward still not even certain to play ??? ??? ???

To be fair guys, let's not forget Hart did call him up and left him on the bench for the USA game when we had already qualified for the Hex. He should have started in that game and ah really cyah understand why Hart did that. So it's not much of a difference to Tallest not calling him up at all. Hopefully, the call comes sooner than later.

Jan wouldn't have taken the bench tbh and Hart didn't want to disrupt the team chemistry as Jan has a big say on the team

So it wasn't all Hart on that imo

I could be wrong of course

Well maybe..... just maybe Tallest is of the same view. Deep into the campaign do we really need that risk at this stage?

SNM recognized Hasely Crawford Stadium

This Monday night, at 8 pm local time and 18 from the center of Mexico, the National Team of Mexico, directed by Juan Carlos Osorio, recognized the stadium of the Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain, home of its eliminatory match of the day of Tomorrow before the combined Trinidad & Tobago.

With the presence in practice of the Ambassador of Mexico, Jesus Alberto López González, in the Caribbean country, the Aztec set trained for an hour in the building where tomorrow Trinidadians and Mexicans will see each other.

The media had access to the last 15 minutes of the session and in the end the striker, Oribe Peralta, and Mexico National Team strategist Juan Carlos Osorio attended them at a press conference, where the striker was first Who answered the questions and then the Colombian coach.

The first thing mentioned by the Mexican striker is about the state of the Hasely Crawford court in Port of Spain:

"The court is a bit loose, difficult, but I think we have the quality enough to make a good match tomorrow."

Oribe Peralta was clear in denying that neither the court nor the climate will influence the development of tomorrow's match against the Trinitarians:

"No, in this type of instances does not affect that much, we must be attentive to all the situations that happen in the game, we have the ability to dose and know when to make the maximum effort to give the best performance in the game. The court should not be a factor to make a good match tomorrow. "

He finished his speech giving his point of view on the two top scorers in the National Team of Mexico, Jared Borgetti and Javier Hernández:

"The truth is that Jared Borgetti always admired him as a child and wanted to be like him, to be in the situation where he was. With Javier Hernandez I have shared many things, I admire them both equally and I know that they are two great that have put the name of Mexico very high. "

The Technical Director of Mexico, Juan Carlos Osorio, answered on whether Javier Hernández is in a position to start tomorrow against Trinidad & Tobago:

"Fortunately not only Javier Hernandez, but the rest of the boys, are well and if you can play, has many desires, win like the rest, is an obviously difficult decision because we know that Javier is a great finisher, very important for We, but beyond the record he is aware that the most important thing is the performance of the team, this to contribute and I think one of the great contributions that makes the group, which is not only their goals, is that it is much closer Everyone, shares more with everyone and we really appreciate that. "

Regarding how the players find themselves physically for tomorrow, he replied:

"Physically they are fine, I think the medical department does a great job. Professor Ríos, Carlos Pecanha and Dr. Serrano have been and always are, a lot of attention to regenerative work, it was a long trip yesterday, the necessary measures were taken and I think the team is really well prepared for tomorrow " .

Regarding whether there will be rotation, he said:

"I would spend more to give you more and better resources to manage that game, which is going to be very different to Costa Rica, a team that plays much more directly, and not only that, but straight, there is not much diagonal ball, but If very direct to the 9, Jones, I think we have the resources to counter that part and we are going to do it, or at least we are going to try it, that is part of the rotation, to see the best possibilities we have for the team .

"If we have the opportunity to enter the last third and ten times to reach the arch rival, at least five restarts and at each restart the ball will come long at number 9, the goalkeeper pulls out very long, he will probably look for him And try to try the extensions for the other forward, we have to take that into account when selecting the lineup.

The Colombian strategist explained the way in which the subject of the admonitions inside the Mexican team was treated:

"Yesterday we talked with the boys and our position was clear, we have to play each ball as if it were the last and if you go to the ball and in the process there is a yellow card you have to accept it, but if you have to be from the first minute Not only attentive, because I'm sure the boys are, but if willing to play every ball as it was in the previous game. That factor for tomorrow will not stop us in selecting a player. "

When it was questioned whether to pay more attention to the opponent or get the most out of the Mexican players, the national coach said:

"Totally that of taking advantage of the Mexican players, our team, we always give an importance to the rival, I would say

Doubt very much lawrence will throw boatswain into a mexican taco so early. He coming off the bench and Hyland starting for sure.

No Glenn, Cummings, ranjitsingh....

No surprise.

How so?

Ranjitsingh is the best keeper of the bunch, Cummings should have been with the team instead of old man Carlos and Glenn just got a team and is better than some of the other strikers chosen ... but as the man said, Tallest is the face ....

Glenn recovering from a broken arm, cummings even by ur admission needs a few more games before he is ready. Has the coach or staff seen Ranjitsingh? Hart called him up but still didnt use him. Maybe...... just maybe.......there's a thought by all these persons that he may need some more time.

who knows. And do you really honestly believe all these people could be some part of a huge conspiracy to keep T&T football down? Really? The football giants that we are?

Sol leave jolly old England to be a puppet? come on man.
