I managed to get a pass once from ttfa to bring in the flag. We tend to sit on 18yard line movietowne uncovered side.
Avoiding the fight up with the crowd in that area with the flag, we found it easier to spread it out a lil behind the movietowne side corner flag.
I should be there depending once i not on shift or can't get my shift switched.

they should do a poll of doctors and ask how satisfied they are with the healthcare..
finished internship dec 31st and still cant get a placement..damn frustrating when you see them talking about shortage of doctors yet every one i know that finished around the same time as myself home waiting to see if they could get a job

pitches and quality of cricket was poor. That tourney was a big shame. Even worse that it showed on espn. Glad for the tnt win, but besides narine and mohammed, noone really stood out for us. Bravo and Pollard should have dominated these games.
Improvements are needed quickly, cuz cricket on a whole just gonna get worse the way it looking

General Discussion / Re: Kublasingh hunger strike is a farce
« on: January 05, 2015, 02:32:50 PM »
this farce has caused so many not to give a shit about his cause

The cause is not his personal cause only, it is the cause of all T&T nationals who care about the future environment of the country.

Why don't you educate yourself a bit about it if you care about the future of T&T?
Maybe you will understand what his protest is about and be prepared to do something to help save the country's environment like Dr Wayne Kublalsingh is doing.

Here are some links:-
https://www.facebook.com/highwayreroute
https://www.facebook.com/HighwayRerouteMovement

Now watch this video for a quick summary of the issues that Dr Wayne Kublalsingh is protesting about.

Highway Re-route (Debe to Mon Desir) Map
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/O37tt74p9Ww" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="bbc_link bbc_flash_disabled new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/O37tt74p9Ww</a>

This is a map showing the highway segments proposed to be built by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago in the south western part of Trinidad, West Indies.

The construction of one of these segments, between Debe and Mon Desir, will have extremely negative impacts:
1. Permanent flooding as a result of the construction of a 9.3 km embankment across the Debe-Mon Desir region
2. Destruction of over 300 homes of peaceful, honest and law-abiding citizens
3. Destruction of hundreds of acres of prime agricultural lands
4. Drain on the treasury - this segment will cost an estimated 4 billion TT dollars

Action groups are protesting for the Debe-Mon Desir segment to be re-routed to a path that will eliminate all these harmful impacts.

But the Government of Trinidad and Tobago has turned a blind eye to these concerns...they have taken an anti-people stance in this matter...but they shall not be allowed to trample the constitutional rights of the people...!

u eh read what i said or what?..his farce of a hunger strike causing pple to not give a shit..i eh say nutting about whether the cause is good or not..
I doing my part working in d hospital saving kids in this country so doh tell me what i should do or not do  for my country. I here working the hours in underequipped and understaffed hospitals.
So hush yuh ass about telling me if i care about the future of T&T. I actively here doing something u pretentious prick

General Discussion / Re: Don’t play with Ebola Virus
« on: October 20, 2014, 06:26:00 PM »
steupse..conspiracy bullshit. Sites like those just make our job harder having to explain what is bullshit and what isn't..sadly bullshit spreads quicker than facts as it raises peoples fears.
Look at how Nigeria cleared themselves from ebola..a patient who wasnt diagnosed for 3 days and travelled..yet it didn't wipe out Lagos. People are not understanding the concept of direct contact and think it is way more contagious than it actually is. It is a virus with a very high mortality rate, but in terms of its contagious index it isn't as high as many believe.
I hoping it taken care of in Sierra Leone and Liberia, get there under control and it will fade into the background again
Fascinating virus i mus admit tho

to be fair the ttfa gave me a pass last couple matches to be able to drive into the Hasley and park with the flag..credit when credit due.
Giving the section fine..but need to be clearly marked and security informed.
Even when we went the game early and spread it out pple still get on

General Discussion / Re: Can T&T cope with Ebola if it hits our shores?
« on: September 26, 2014, 04:34:10 PM »
fact: we doing chik v tests at least 5 per day over the last couple weeks. Guess how many results i have seen come back for my patients. Two.
Spoke to a friend at CARPHA who confirmed they doing the tests..dunno why we not getting the results.
But also, many pple think they have chik v but it really is dengue. But they still eh believing you and saying they feel is chik v cuz their neighbour had it.

The  plan i heard from friends at Mt Hope internal med is for docs to volunteer to live at Caura for 3 weeks with any suspected or confirmed case of ebola. No change in pay etc, nurses who go would be eligible for crazy pay tho..Effin madness, so of course the docs saying they dont want to and pressure being put on them
If they have one confirmed case walk in POSGH I walking out that hospital first thing. We have no proper isolation rooms, so I eh playing that.
It is a damn scary thing we nowhere near equipped for.

daz d ting..some pple cant handle the water and go onto the boat belly full and wonder why they sick..
from anytime after august to jan the north tends to be flat and nice, although the shallows always can have a bit of a kick before you reach bago

15
haven't taken a plane to bago in years...drive on drive off..easter to summer the water lil rough and idiots who aren't boaters all rush to the bow and surprised when they puking all over the place.
Haven't been on it for the year though, but never really had a problem.
Stick to the stern, pop a gravol and should be fine..
I really like it cuz I living in POS and yuh cud walk with a few beers and bottle of rum and lime before and on the ferry. Note - don't take glass bottles to drink on the ferry, even though they sell soft drinks in glass bottles. Had to point that out to a police officer on board who told me i couldn't have a stag bottle. She wasn't too happy when i pointed out all the glass bottles on board from the bar

16
hahaha well I must say we have quite a good survival rate for GSWs that reach the hospital alive. No joke, car accident or gunshot I rate POSGH over private hospitals i been to in trinidad..

17
Hear nah media not getting half de shootings that go on in dis country...I had my first on call the other day that didn't have a GSW victim and was surprised..often we have 3 and four comin in a day..and that is jus d abdomen ones..ortho gets the gunshots that hit limbs
Fellas goin into communities and jus spraying the place wild wild. Diego is a warzone these days judging from what i seeing coming in over the last month.
Now more than ever I understand how Police eh holding back..right now that is d reality.

mt hope ct machine was down for a while and all were comin into POS..
Still think our Xray machine down in POS and only the AandE one working. We send the outpatients to st james for xrays

2 months in and every day i shocked at how comfortable our seniors seem to be with the inefficiencies of the system at POSGh (can't speak for anywhere else)
Simple changes could make massive differences

if windies save this match i will be more impressed with that than anything i seen from them over last 2 years

Thanks again Touches  :beermug: Always well appreciated and a real good picture of what went on in the stands and very good synopsis of the play too  ;D. Uncovered all the way  ;D. A man bring a three line in a bag near we dey and tell a group of white people sometin. All ah dem calmly get up and ride out den a few minutes later about 15 strapid babylon proceed to come down the steps - I swear is a bomb they was lookin for. I was real impressed that saddis didn't collect some mind-numbin calpet and the babylon show real, real restraint and professionalism in dealin with soldier :beermug:.

hahaha dat was us..the man cuss d kids in front who happen to be tulla nephews and then he draw d blad easy easy as the man tell him doh cuss..didn't even notice the blade till my sis got up and say shit this i eh takin no chop.
