Well, as you can see our socawarriors are located in these highlighted teams of the 2nd tier (immediately below the Premier League of the English leagues.) This league is becoming extremely competitive as they desperately fight for promotion to the big bonanza promised land of the Premiership. The season is still early with only 5 games played but yuh could see what Dwight is up against as Keano needs as much ammunition as possible to be one of the few etc for promotion while fighting up with the ambitions of Norwich, Palace, Coventry, Leeds, Southampton, Birmingham City and Leicester City.

Real pressure.

Man dey come a long way up

Long way up is surely an understatement.... it's like they have just scaled Mt Everest........

WELL DONE AND CONGRATULATIONS TO SUNDERLAND AND ESPECIALLY OUR BOYS!!!!!!!!!

the Lads on the Sunderland chat room say there are 7 Trinis there :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Spoke to Soca pro & ThemanFriday this morning as they were travelling and Theman said they were on a 35 seater coach with about two empty seats. So it is definitely not that bad.... don't believe everything yuh read. There are also people who made theiir own way down(up), as I was planning to do from Wolverhampton.

STERN......................GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl

Apparently Roy Keane reads this board....... earlier this week.. I think it was after the last game, someone said that Keane should bench Stern and bring him on late.... " he go bound to score" or words to that effect  :beermug: :beermug: :beermug:

This is absolutely sad news; especially the way he got hacked down, and a man didn't even get a warning.

Anyway, maybe we can get him to join us in the stands on 7th April... he could stamp his influence on the game from there.

They have clarified to say that they only have 40 spaces, and as it's usually about 30 of them that means they may be able to take 10 people. So dat is first-come-first-served going on there.

Thanks for the reply. I however agree with dreamer that we should make sure we are talking to someone at the top. From the posts above, I realise that the problem is not with match tickets though, but with transit from Lon-Sndl. It's a big difference having to pay £36 as opposed to £80, especially with multiple heads. Anyhow we will see how it goes, thanks for the effort that you are putting in.

I pray that the healing power of almighty Jehovah will touch and heal him and through this he can come to know God and receive his salvation.

To ensure no mix ups occur, I am going to arrange for people to "book" their tickets from now, and you just pay for them at the gate. Just identify yourself as a Trini supporter (like they wouldn't be able to tell  ::)) and there should be a separate batch for us, to ensure we get seats in the same area.

As for train tickets, everybody BOOK YOUR OWN! If you want me to buy them for you outright, send money and I will do. But I strongly advise that you book your own by either going to the National Rail website or calling them. That is after you decide if you wanna stay and party after the game and return to London early Sunday morning, or if you wanna get back to London by midnight.

RTG.
What about the deal with the London branch of Sunderland supporters that was mentioned on the other thread. If I remember correctly. it was £36 return travel. Has that fallen through or was it a mis quote?

From Sunderland Supporters all over the world, welcome aboard, Soca Warriors!.
I hope you get to see Sunderland, but tickets for the games at Colchester and Luton will be very hard to get - for Sunderland Season Ticket holders! I know it's a long way, but you'd be better off making the trek to the North East for a game - you're certain to get a ticket.

For travel advice from London, try the SAFC Supporters London Branch - link http://www.readytogo.net/london/

if you do decide to come, please let me know and we'll make sure you get some publicity and a warm North East welcome. :beermug:

On behalf of everyone here... Welcome to the site cold north east and thanks for that London link-up. Was wondering, if there was a similar branch in the West Midlands; would have to travel in from Wolverhampton as early as 2.00 am to link up with the London crew if I decide to make the trip. Sounds more exciting by the minute.

Nice going RTG!!

Just to help ensure that people's contributions are not taken for granted, I would like to add my too cents worth.

Saying that this site is a blessing is really an understatement, but it is really difficult to quantify or measure the value that this site adds to one's being. So I just want to say...... HATS OFF, BIG UP, KUDOS......... to the moderators and every other contributor behind the scenes for making it happen.

THANKS!!!!!!!!

A calming influence on the team and a tower of strength. Teams always need someone like him around to keep men feet on the ground. I hope he will be around the team in some capacity in the future. It is really a pity that he was unable to showcase his skills on the biggest stage, he has sacrificed so much over the years unselfishly..... but God is still in control and he surely knows best. Be blessed BIG MARV.
