I really hope he does come to United then. It'd be cool to have a hard working midfielder whos prepared to put a tough shift in. Lets hope he's a United player before long.

That movie is so terrible it's painful to watch haha. Elijah Wood as a footbal hooligan is so funny and all this movie does is make people think it's cool to be a thug at a football match. Utter garbage.

I'm not a Falkirk fan but I believe they are still to win a game at home this season. They always play better away from home.

Robson was getting treated like shit by the players though. They would laugh at him during team talks to the point that Alan Shearer punched one of his team mates for it. They got Souness in beacause he takes noo shit from anyone but now they are acting like children again and not performing for him.

I'm doin good Magician whats up? I was thinking I'll put this up in a thread later but I'm here now. If there are people who are going to make the trip over here to Scotland if the Friendly goes ahead I would welcome a bunch of you to mine for the night. You wouldn;t have to pay for a hotel or anything. Obviously it would only be a few but you know...we could hang!

Put it this way. If a Trinidad international said he was more concerned about something like....I dunno maybe playing for their club rather than their country I'm sure you would be pissed. Just in the same way that a die hard Falkirk fan would feel betrayed by comments like that. It's not the most offensive thing ever but it is quite ungratefull to a good club who are offering him a chance at a decent level. The SPL isn't all that bad.

Man that would be amazing. I always had a soft spot for Hibs because I nearly signed for them and they were nice to me but after the Scotland farce I really have it in for them now. I loved Scotland he was such a danger and I've met him a few time, he's a great guy as well.

Too true too true. There is a rumour going around Dundee that now he has his permit he is able to come back to United. He loved it here and we would surely be keen to have him back. With him and Sammy both on top form we would be a real force.

Thats the miracle of the world...we all have different accents.haha of course we speak different from you guys, you are half way across the worls. To be fair though I can't even understand what Barry Robson is saying most of the time. He's a bit...you know.....special.hahaha

Oh and if you look through the rest of the clips in the view all section you get a great Jason Scotland goal from the 2005 Scottish cup semi final against Hibs, I duno how to upload it yet but go look cos it's a great goal.

« on: January 13, 2006, 08:05:27 PM »
And boy are we happy. Brewster was an amazing striker and still is the fans are excited about the prospect of him and Samuel upfront. Brewster often partnered Jerron Nixon in his time at Tannadice but hopefully his partnership with Sammy will be more successful, unfortunately Nixon did'nt perform overly well at United although the shock of the pace of the Scottish game was apparent and the fans took to him anyway because he always tried his best and did it with a smile. Thats all you can ask for in a player.

I have a season ticket for United and he played wide  left for a while but then begged to be put up front, he gets put up front and BANG the goals start pouring in. He has become a very prolific scorer and is much better as a striker now.

You know what dont even get angry at comments like that. I love it when people say things like that about Scotland. It just makes for a better atmosphere throughout the fans. A better sense of togetherness and underdogs fitghting against the assholes. Just take it in your stride. Keep it punk boys.loving it.

Ithink your best bet would be to play very attacking at home and play on the wings a lot. Sammy has been working on his crossing a lot and this has paid off because his crosses are causing real problems for teams. Try and flood their poor defence with as man crosses and runs as possible maybe even opting for a 3-5-2 and punish them. In the away leg be ar more cautious because they will fancy their chances at home.

I watched their first leg on Eurosport and I gotta say theyre very good in attack so if you get big Marv attacking everything in the air and the others taking care of the wingers it should be ok. Defensively they are pretty terrible so i would like to see Scotland taking their players on, he and Stern John are they type of possitive players who could really cause some problems for them.

I was talking to Collin Samuel and Jason Scotland in a club the other day in Dundee and they are so excited about the whole thing, smiles were just beaming from them. They are so desperate to be picked and think that this could be their chance to enter into the history books. They seemed to have a real sense of pride in their country. It was nice to see from two nice guys

Hey guys I'm a Scottish Trinidad fan, Ive been rooting for you guys since my team(Dundee United)signed Jerron Nixon in 1993 when I was 9. I am so happy you guys have a chance to make it and I'll be really charging you guys on to victory against Bharain. Lattapy, Samuel, Nixon and Scotland have all played for us and I'm always happy to see Trinidad talent in Scotland. I'm a Samuel fan because although he has had a poor couple of years he is a player i believe has had an extremely hard time from the press and struggled to cope with that. When we signed him from Falkirk he was billed as the next best thing and I dont think he was ready for that. This season though, the fans are really getting behind him and it looks like he is becoming a real asset for us. I've always been a fan of the underdog and he certainly has been that since arriving in Dundee. Trinidad are big underdogs in national football and i will continue to support you. If theres anything you need to know about Dundee United based Trinidadians i'll do my best to tell you. Peace love and punk rock.x ;D
