Football / Re: Peltier: “I have no attitude problem.”
« on: May 13, 2013, 06:45:37 PM »
I always heard the saying "shut your mouth and let people like you."

Peltier should probably do the same.

You are NOT in a place where you can open your mouth and say anything. Dwight Yorke could open his mouth (he was at Man Utd and one of the best strikers in the World at one point)......Russel Latapy could open his mouth because he was regarded as one of the best midfielders in Concacaf (by the highly rated Mexicans) and also played at top Scottish clubs........Kenwyne Jones (EPL player) can open his open....Stern John (former EPL player and T&T all time leading goal scorer) could open his mouth......but Lester Peltier, you don't have that type of right just yet.

Why?

First off, you play in Solvakia my brother.....Solvakia!! A European league that is not even ranked TOP 15 in Europe. Second, you have done nothing for Trinidad national team......you scored a couple goals in your domestic league (which in all fairness to you is great, because it means you are heading in the right direction)......no one knows of you on the European stage or simply even in Concacaf.

But my advice to you is to respect the coaches of Trinidad national team and just shut up and play when you get the chance. When you start bussing a goal a game for Trinidad and move to a better/more respected league....then of course my friend, you go right ahead and open fire!

You are talented, but not a star.

Talent can take you places that character CAN'T keep you.

Kingman

More rubbish.......I cannot believe what I am reading here.

Football / Re: Trinidad defeats Costa Rica 2-0 at Under 17's
« on: April 10, 2013, 06:22:59 AM »
Great results considering this same T&T team lost 3-0 to Costa Rica just February.

I was now coming to point this out.....there is no way to please people like King Dese.  When we lose, we are shit and when we win, the opponent is shit.  I saw the game and these guys had their backs against the wall with everything to play for.  They fought for each other and got the result they deserved.  I'm very proud ofthis side since under normal circumstances,  we would have been hammered bya country considered to be a CONCACAF powerhouse.

If someone really calls a spade a spade......they would say that even though we drew with Sweden, we shouldve lost......or although we held England goaless for 80+ mins, they shouldve hit us 5 before that.  It is sad when people always find a negative in all situations.

It is amazing that someone doesn't want to give the coaching staff credit when we beat a team who hammered us in a friendly two months ago.

Ah love it!!

cannot believe i missed it anybody has the link?
Its not a big deal, its like a three minute segment just telling you what you already know about these players.  I'm sure it will be on again.

Not a big deal? Lol.........clearly you have no sense of national pride. You actually thought that this feature was done to give trini fans information on their own players that they didn't know?

A feature showcasing some of our finest footballing exports to millions of people around the world is more than just a big deal.

He said the level there is equivalent to the championship division and some games have as much as 100,000 people in the stadium.  Plus the tax structure is not as harsh.

Football / Re: Swansea City ready to dive in for Kenwyne Jones
« on: January 10, 2013, 04:09:28 PM »
This would be a great move for both parties.  Swansea are the masters of the 'pass and move' game in Britain (they even played arsenal off the park once) but they lack a bit of physicality in the penalty area annd Kenwyne would help address that.  Also, it would be nice for Jones' game to develop in terms of his off the ball movement.

Football / Re: Chris Birchall signs for Port Vale
« on: January 10, 2013, 02:38:17 PM »
So what is the real story with this player and his commitment or lack thereof to represent TnT?  was he in training or out of a contract  while we catching arse to qualify?

GRATITUDE----this must be a long lost virtue: It just appaers that some players  does just dump TnT like a rag. Yuh think England would have ever given this man the opportunity to be on the world stage in football? That 2006 experience is every footballer's dreams .Now years later we trying to gain some respectability and players does  go cold just like that?

AB Trini........where do u live? in Trini or abroad?  You making all these assumptions based on what??

17
I really like Dennis, but I'm not sure about the standard of work he is currently doing. However, he will definitely be gaining good experience. If he wanted to coach T&T, his career path should first take him to manage a club team and then, perhaps, assist with the national team. Throwing someone in too soon (as with Latapy) wastes the undeveloped potential of a decent coach in the future.

His profile was recently changed and his present role is more of a promotion.  He was titled as "assistant coach to the first team" before and if u read his current profile, you would see that he has the development squad coach role AS WELL AS his first team responsibilities in this new updated profile.

He is involved in the coaching in an established premier league side.................NO TRINI HAS EVER COME CLOSE TO THAT (not gonna count Yorke at Sunderland)

ah love it!!

nb: Why the hell would he even consider leaving heading to grounds like Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emraites on a weekly basis to come to Trinidad and not get paid??

Not bad suggestions from Shabazz, since it would help streamline our players and congest the pro league with more quality, but he have to be a mad man to think that a foreign based player have to train with a local club to make a national side.

Remember guys, Jack Warner is KING of Trinidad and Tobago and the faster you guys learn to accept this the easier your heart will burn you.

No money for the current TTFF until they resign and it will continue to be this way, I will personally make sure of this.

You see it took 5 years for the 2006 Soca Warriors to calm down, now the TTFF will have to go through the same fete, Jack will strangle them until they eventually break.

The Trinidad and Tobago team will face FIFA saction very soon.

Football in T&T will be dead and this site will soon follow as their will be nothing to write about or publish. Jack wins again and the funny thing is, he is not even in football anymore...!!!!
Just cool, a personal message for you, Jack is the smartest blackman you will ever meet.

Jack will rise again and the world will beg for him to come back and I hope he says NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plz explain to me how the death of football in this country makes Jack Warner a winner.
