Looks like Trinis have to copy everything we see happening in America & Europe but why is more usually that not the bad things!!

Whoever did it must be hung high!!

Is like many of us are still under mental slavery, we have to copy everything the ex-colonial masters do regardless of how depraved it is?!!!

Oh gosh man!!

Our leaders are a complete failure!  :(

Football / Message to Beenie!
« on: July 11, 2005, 02:32:20 PM »
I am not telling you what to do and who to play vesus Columbia tomorrow but Stern must not start!!  >:(
Please let him come off the bench and prove that he deserves to start or to even be on the bench by making the best of any chances he gets rather than throwing them away!

We are behind you and the team 100% once you pick those who are consistently performing and showing that they deserve to start game or even to come be or come off the bench!

Tomorrow's game will be hard but I believe that we can win and do so impressively as a team with a solid team performance.

Also I believe its time we give Shaka a start and make him Captain especially if Stern starts on the bench as he deserves for some incentive to prove himself worthy of a start.

Once again I am not telling you what to do but Socapro is normally correct, see how well I am doing in the Predictions Game?!  8)

All the best to you Beenie and the team tomorrow, we can win but the least we should go for is a draw and a goal or two from our strikers!!
Right now I am tired of these draws, my warddrobe only has space for 2 draws and I don't need anymore ties to go with those suits in my wardrobe! What we now need is a win to polish things off for this 1st round 5 points should get us thru and the more games we can get against quality opponents the better we can prepare for our next World Cup game.

Many thanks for listening.  :-*

Yes fellas!

I'm alive! Life in London goes on as normal, we accustomed to thei terrorisim thing from the IRA days.

33 dead and more to be counted on a London bus that got blasted to bits doh!

These things happen when yuh invade other people's countries to steal and control their resources rather than leave them to sort out their own problems as you should if you respect them!  This was bound to happen sooner or later but as a Trini, once I'm alive I enjoying my life to the max of my ability!

Condolenceses to all those who lost their love ones today but I keep in mind that many more are dying in Africa daily of AIDs and other diseases!

Thanks for the thoughts guys!  :-*

Hey Touches, it will also be useful to post information of squads for tomorrow's games so folks here can study possible starting teams and try to predict their goal scorers and the scorelines both HT & FT.

However if posters are really keen and follow the teams they should already have this info at their finger tips from regularly following all the updates on this forum.
I will make my predictions in a short while! Right now I am studing the squads for tomorrow so I can make my predictions on goalscorers as well as results!  8)

Good question Mr Mc! Should we balme the government or the people who vote them in?

Basically we are not maximising our talents in many arears and are not helping our talented youngsters to bloom to their maximum potential!  :'(

Sting Pana, enjoy yuhself while you can but note your days are numbered... In fact less than 1 day left to go!
Yes prepare for as many goals as you can muster! Last time you got 6 and cried but this time I was thinking you have improved and maybe we'll be limited to just stinging your panany twice but heck you asked for many so I think we should aim to hit you another 6 again!
No need to cry a red tide of tears after d game, remember you asked us for many so we are only obliging!
At least yuh already wearing yuh mass so will not have to worry bout showing yuh sad face here after d game!  ;)

Football / Beenhakker: We know how to play Panama
« on: June 02, 2005, 12:33:22 PM »
...Jamaican carries whistle in crucial clash
From T&T Express

Thursday, June 2nd 2005

National coach Leo Beenhakker seemed to have fielded his starting team, in a morning scrimmage, at the Larry Gomes Stadium, yesterday.

It was an indication that the Dutch coach has a clear idea now on how he will approach Saturday's 2006 World Cup qualifier, against Panama, at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, from 6:30 p.m..

Beenhakker had spent the last four weeks trying out different players before coming up with his current squad, and has expressed satisfaction with the ready state of the team. "I know how we will play Panama on Saturday," Beenhakker said. "We have done our work and over the past few weeks we have tried different things and seen the players and now we have come up with what we have now.

"The guys have worked very hard and they know what is required of them in order to get the success we all want," the Dutch coach told Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) media officer Shaun Fuentes.

"Okay boys, great job and Thank You. We leave the stadium at 6.30 and dinner is at 8. Get yourself together and let's all be on time," was how the former Real Madrid coach closed Tuesday's evening session.

Team skipper Dwight Yorke and his teammates were allowed to relax their muscles in the evening, yesterday, before resuming training at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva, this morning. While the team completes its final touches for Panama, team administrator George Joseph jets off to Monterrey, Mexico, today, to ensure that everything is in place for the team's arrival, next Monday, two days before the "Warriors" clash with the host team. Yorke seems to be enjoying the build up to what he described as the "most crucial match for us in the campaign so far".

"It's been hot out there but the guys have all been working hard and the mood in the camp has been a good one. We all know what the task is for us to accomplish and we are working towards that," Yorke said. The Panamanians are scheduled to arrive in the country just after 8p.m., today. Their 1-1 result with Mexico, in March, snapped that country's  ten-game winning streak, in Germany 2006 World Cup qualifying.

That match also provided one of the goals of the qualifiers, so far. Panamanian forward Luis Tejada found himself in the middle of the penalty box, with his back to the goal and Mexican defenders around him.

The second half substitute juggled the ball to his right foot, and then unleashed an athletic bicycle kick that beat Mexican keeper Oswaldo Sánchez.

Carrying the whistle in Saturday's encounter will be Jamaican Peter Prendergast, with countrymen Anthony Garwood, Ricardo Morgan and Raymond Pine also officiating on the evening.
