Any update on Bostock? Supposed to be resolved today.

That is the million dollar question. It's 4pm est. Hence, we should've learned by now. I'm sensing another roadblock or something. I hope I'm wrong.

According to his tweet, John Bostock will be unavailable for the World Cup Qualifiers against Guatemala and the United States.

Unless he is head and shoulders above the rest, I would not start him in any of these games.
It is good to have him around the team and training with Maurice and Hart.

Agreed!

When we beat Guatemala on Fri and head to the Hex, we'll have enough Friendlies in between to see what he's made of. No need to rush d Brush... Training with the team and building camaraderie is a start..

Bought my ticket yesterday at a Lotto booth. I actually like this system more, very Hassle Free! My only criticism lately with the way they've been collecting tickets on game day at stad, is that we no longer get to keep a stub from each game as a souvenir. I still have my Bahrain ticket among many others and this new system leffin meh with nuthin...  :(

Tickets for the upcoming all important 2018 CONCACAF World Cup qualifier between this Country’s National Senior Men’s Team and Guatemala at the Hasely Crawford Stadium will go on sale on Thursday August 18th, 2016.

Tickets, priced at $300 (Covered Section) and $150 (Uncovered Section) will be available exclusively through Sun Tixx on the Via network and will remain on sale while stocks last and throughout the duration of the match which takes place at 7 pm on Friday September 2nd, 2016.

Fans can visit any of the nine hundred (900) National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) Lotto outlets nationwide to purchase their tickets. Patrons are also advised to avoid counterfeit ticket issues by purchasing directly and only from the authorized agents.

Gates will open at 4pm at the Stadium on September 2nd.

Fans can also visit www.TTFootball.org for further updates.

Trinidad and Tobago head coach Stephen Hart is expected to announce his final squad for the match in two weeks time. T&T needs a point to assure themselves of a place in the CONCACAF Final Round of qualification which begins in November. T&T will also face the United States in Jacksonville, Florida on September 6th.  The “Warriors” are currently top of the semi-final group with ten points with the US in second on seven points following by Guatemala (6 pts) and St Vincent/Grenadines (0).

The qualifying process began back in January 2015 and is now into the Fourth Round, where the top two teams from each of three groups will advance to the final Hexagonal round.

In the six-team “Hex,” the top three finishers will automatically qualify to the 2018 World Cup, while the fourth-place team will advance to a playoff against Asia’s fifth-place finisher for a ticket to Russia.

What time is this game on Fri? EST
After some research I found that the game is (20:36) UTC which is 3:36PM EST or 4:36PM TT. I'll wait for official confirmation though.

Looks like we play at 5:36pm EST. Currently, Panama time and EST are the same.

Seeking clarification. If the game is playing 530pm Panama Time, Then that would be 630pm TT. We are an hour ahead, not so?

FIFA Executive Committee approves kick-off times for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia

The FIFA Executive Committee has approved the kick-off times for the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ and the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 during the first of two days of meetings in Zurich.

The opening match of both tournaments, as well as the FIFA World Cup Final, will be played at 18.00 Moscow time (UTC + 3).

Taking into account time zone considerations, the FIFA Executive Committee also amended the 2018 FIFA World Cup match schedule accordingly by swapping the following matches between Kaliningrad and Ekaterinburg: Match #21 and #26, #32 and #36, #44 and #45.

The next step in the development of the match schedules will be the assignment of kick-off times to matches, factoring in such considerations as daily temperatures and local time zones. Updated versions of the match schedules should be approved in March 2016, during the meeting of the Organising Committee for the FIFA World Cup.

The final match schedules, which will include the participating teams, will be unveiled after the FIFA Confederations Cup Draw, in November 2016, and after the FIFA World Cup Final Draw, in December 2017.

The kick-off times of both competitions using Moscow’s time zones*, are as follows,

2018™ FIFA World Cup Russia  - 14 June to 15 July

Opening match: 18.00
16 June: 13.00, 16.00, 19.00, 22.00
Group stage matches for the days with three matches: 15.00, 18.00, 21.00
Last round of group stage matches with simultaneous kick-offs, Round of 16 and Quarter-finals: 17.00, 21.00
Semi-finals: 21.00

Match for third place: 17.00
Final: 18.00

FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 - 17 June to 2 July

Opening Match: 18.00
First two rounds of group stage matches: 18.00, 21.00
Last round of group stage matches: 18.00
Semi-finals: 21.00
Match for third place: 15.00

FIFA defers decision on 40-team World Cup starting in 2026

AP
Dec 3, 2015 at 9:06a ET
ZURICH --

The FIFA executive committee has deferred a decision on expanding the World Cup to 40 teams starting at the 2026 tournament.

The German soccer federation says the FIFA administration will have further talks about the plan, which is supported by Asia and Africa.

The idea to add eight teams was part of FIFA reform proposals being considered Thursday. The executive committee had the power to make it FIFA policy without approval of the 209 member federations.

The 2026 bidding should start next year with the United States, Canada and Mexico the expected candidates.

The 40-team World Cup was first suggested by UEFA President Michel Platini in 2013. It is an election pledge by FIFA presidential candidate Gianni Infantino, the UEFA general secretary.

Yuh know, when yuh come tuh think of it,
What really have VPs been contributing at TTFF, now called TTFA?
Got the impression that all the action was with the President and General secretary, as in case of Uncle Tim and Shello.
In past years Scampito and others.
These latest VPs, the average disengaged fan has never even heard of them.
What the hell did they do except be silent facilitators of the crime syndicate? Maybe they will be delegated more constructive roles in a truly busy hard working administration and speak more to the press. That last administration seemed very iffy to say the least. Cyah geh any worse. Look, Hurry up and pay Pellirud before T&T get banned and Sam tooz heself.
Still a salary for the General Secretary only? Or did the constitution change that?

Good question... What really are the VP's role in TTFA? Why not re-structure it similar to FIFA , that all Presidents of each Football Association, Eastern, South, Central, North, Tobago automatically become appointed as TTFA VP's which would give them more imput in the overall decision and policy making on a National scale

FIFA Manager of Member Associations Luca Nicola congratulates David John Williams on his new post but also talks about a critical matter that he advises the TTFA to treat with seriously. According to Luca, Trinidad and Tobago could face suspension from the 2022 World Cup qualification if it does not pay outstanding salaries to former Women's Under 17 team head coach Even Pellerud based on a decision made by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.
