My issue is that if a minister's son is involved and the FBI has to interview the Minister are they interviewing the Minister because he or she is involved in money laundering? Are they interviewing the Minister as a favor to the gov't of T&T?
How then can he or she perform the duties entrusted to them by the people of T&T?

Makes you wonder about the age of the shooters.

I wonder how the Minister of Insecurity would categorize this one...sad sad day and this governnment had a crime plan.

That 3 front high pressure from Oldham had Liverpool in bits.

Not at all... Oldham hardly threatened, not sure which game you watched.  Liverpool concede three goals on three mistakes, all by reserve players.  On the first goal by Smith Coates was arguably fouled when Smith but his forearm on his shoulder to get leverage to go up for the cross.  Even so, Coates should have boxed him out better.  Same exact thing on the cross for the third goal when Robinson failed to keep a body on the black dude, who headed in the cross.  On Smith's second goal Jones drop an easy chest-high bouncer across the box.

Meanwhile just in the second half alone Borini missed a sitter seconds after the intermission, and Gerrard absolutely rocked the crossbar... not to mention again, the marginal offside call against Suarez.  As for Suarez,  he's enjoying one of the finest seasons of his career and it should only get better with the addition of Sturridge.  The club has markedly improved in the year he's been at Anfield, not just in positioning in the table, but in the way the team is playing.  He's not going anywhere... not even sure why that is being mentioned.

From what I saw - not talking specifically about the goals just in the run of play - a various instances Oldham pressed Liverpool when the fullbacks separated from the CBs and caused many problems early on. After Liverpool went down 1-0, they seemed rattled and was playing as though it was the last 10 minutes when it was only the first 10 minutes. The press from Oldham though not sustained, caused many problems for Liverpool. Sterling had to come deep to retrieve the ball and had to do a lot of defending deep in Liverpool end. I did not catch the entire game (went to church), but Oldham played a fearless game.

Liverfool looks like a thinly threaded team. I could have sworn I saw one of the guys tell Suarez to f**k off after he took a shot and Suarez was shouting he was open.  That was the second or third time I saw something like that from them. Don't think there is a whole lot of cohesiveness in the camp.

Lol... it amazing to watch people over react to things looking on from the outside.  That "one of the guys" was the same Jack Robinson who misplayed a shot off his shin into the stands rather than passing to Suarez... who yelled at him after the shot.  Rodgers too was upset at the shot.  Robinson told Suarez to "f**k off"... but Suarez yells at everybody, even Gerrard whenever he wants the ball and doesn't get it.  That is a normal thing for people who watch every game.  What is also apparent is that all of them love Suarez and he loves playing with them as well.  None ah we on the training ground or in the locker room to really see... but there is nothing of substance in that "cohesiveness" talk.

Padnah ah eh know if you ever been around teams but when a man clearly says fack off to one of his teammates something is wrong especially when it is said to one who is wearing the armband then all isn't well. Fack off is dismissive it means leave me alone I'm not playing a team sport. If his first response could be that look at yuh team implode as the season continues.

While this conversation has evolved, first time ever for a SW thread?, into an interesting historical discussion the fact still remains that Shabazz has never apologized for his actions. He and his cohorts held the Prime Minister at gunpoint and subsequently the country at ransom. This is what makes him a terrorist..

We have a terrorist for a coach.

How can a man help stick up a country, kill innocent civilians, burn down buildings, shoot the President and walk the streets today free and unscratched

The same way we could have a crook and teef as Minister of National Security

So by all accounts Mancini was the aggressor..let's see how the media spins this.

I really like Dennis, but I'm not sure about the standard of work he is currently doing. However, he will definitely be gaining good experience. If he wanted to coach T&T, his career path should first take him to manage a club team and then, perhaps, assist with the national team. Throwing someone in too soon (as with Latapy) wastes the undeveloped potential of a decent coach in the future.

yuh might want to reword that sentence as he is coaching at a higher level than some of the current coaches but take heed to what weary said....
how it is cro cro call dem????

This Martinique is not a better team though.  WE lacking a forward and an atacking midfielder..Why Molino was on the bench to start?  Poor choice by the coaching staff.
no we are lacking a midfield

Football / Re: Anton Corneal
« on: December 12, 2012, 09:35:08 AM »
Our problem here is that we don't know which he is.

All the time you have the same self serving crew running TTFF, anyone in Antons position cannot effect any change. These people have less vision than Stevie Wonder in a snowstorm.
Case in point: Lincoln Phillips. You can't say Lincoln and Anton have been poor, because neither of them have had the freedom or funding to do anything.
Unfortunately, we cannot measure Antons ability until the deadweights have been removed from around his neck.

Now you're just being an apologist for Anton. He has been part and parcel of the cabal that has been running/ruining TnT's football and has been  involved in the administrative process as well as all levels of coaching. He has been a decision maker so don't say he hasn't had the freedom or funding to do anything. What success has he had?

From all quarters he is knowledgeable and from friends who have played with him and know him personally he is a nice guy but he has continuously been rewarded for failure. I maintain that the one constant that has been there through our lack of success at all levels of national football has been Anton.

Football / Re: Foreign-born players eligible for T&T
« on: December 04, 2012, 10:53:25 AM »
People on this forum on a different planet,we have been hurt and burned by these foreign players who have no desire to play for T&T and yet we sit here and moan, groan and beg for what?we worry about them than they worry about us,you think they don't know about their country?why do we have to always hear about somebody, then go and find them, beg them, then they come to T&T as a last resort and still don't put their heart out their for us.Some how i do feel better playing with what we have and looseing at least our local players are gaining experience and getting some exposure.

If foreign born players are coming into a professional environment then the chances of them wanting to playing for TnT increases and that professinalism doesn't start when they are 21 or 22 and are on the cusp of making it professionally. It starts when they are U-13 when they are invited all-expenses paid to train and play with the national youth teams.
Coops we do not have a large enough pool of players that would afford us the luxury of being picky and choosey and it is that myopia which kills us because your sentiments are reflective of local coaches.
