For some reason myself and Im sure others though they may not admit it, took an eye off of The Coach of de Team and placed it squarely on The Team. And why not, we have the renowned Beenieman as the Ship Captain. With all his Experience and proven track record. What could he do wrong. Right?
Well meh good friend Arrow just made some points that definetly makes it difficult not to wonder!!!

Jamaica seems to be running interference for Trinidad this rounds. Is like they taking all de boulder hits for we as we continue to rotate. For this I give them some thanks and my vote of confidence for their ability to take on big Teams and get a result.
Jamaica's lack of intimidation for bigger Teams and Bigger Games is note-worthy. Though it was the mighty Panama that dealt a blow to the JA'ans I believe under their present Coach they may have had better results.
All I'm saying in a nut-shell is big-up to Jamaica for handling them hard Teams with Style and Grace. Good win against dem GUATS and nice draw with South Africa. It would have been more uphill for de SocaWarriors I think if we had the likes of Mexico, Sth. Africa and Dem GUATS to deal with. I may be wrong but I am appreciating all the "big brother" help JA seem to be unintentionally giving Trinidad and Tobago. Its like they handling the after school bully.

Football / Beenie-man, Why did Stern not get subbed at 59 mins......

The flow of the game dictated that Stern get subbed at 59 minuters into the game. It's when we needed that boost. It's when we needed to put the game out of reach. Beenie did make good subs Yesterday but not timely enough I believe. Obviously the SUBS produced but we were always playing from behind. At 59 minutes we had the opportunity to steal the game and we did not. Beenie if yuh let Stern play all that shit yuh must plan to drop him for WCQ's but if not then allow the players who will really be scoring our goals for WCQ, contrary to what Big Magician thinks, take the field and get the exposure and experience necessary to be ready for WCQ. I like de Gold Cup but I care bout the World Cup.
Hats off to Eve's for coming on and kinda steadying de ship if only for his senior player status. Spann is meh player of de Game, his first 5 touches were impecable. Zidanish even, wishful thinking..... maybe...

Football / Scotland, Samuel,Jones's attacks thwarted by Stern John's hold up play!!!

Goalie.... Well, Well, Well. Kelvin it seems is trying very hard to follow in the footsteps of our fine line of Goalies. With a performance like that, Trinidad is definetly only second to USA in the goal-keeping department. We have it on Lock. Good show Kelvin. I too did talk some shit about yuh, but you have risen to the challenge. Well done Kimosabee.
Back line... The defence held its own. One could see the Class of Marvin and Lawrence and they worked well with the other defenders. We kept getting beaten on the left Flank, a little misunderstanding with Mid and Defender.
Middle Line... Edwards is injured and if he remains that way, we may need to retain Whitley. Now this Whitely have me a little worried, he is a better defender of de ball than Rahim but in de Second half Rahim showed more Glimpses of a "No. 10" center midfielder. Theobald seems to be a nice kid and all but he was well out-muscled. Most passes he received he got muscled.
I think Rahim needs the Physco Therapy Dude for de Team to help him come out of his Shell because he looked promising in the second half.. Birchall looked very descent and was de only man that made surging run/s into the box.
Which brings me to the Forward line.. (where we should see more surging runs right? wrong)
Mr. Stern John, who is well defended on this Forum is so far from his game that they shoulda been calling him Emery instead because that was not Stern. Well that was Stern and that is how he playin these days. Scotland is no savior and needs to move on and off de ball more to break into this team. He looked confident on de ball and even attempted some runs but Scotland's play was well affected by his strike partner. Scotland saw a lot of de ball but had no one to work with. Stern was too busy passin the ball backwards most times. Scotland saw his runs squandered by a non-partner back-passin Stern Emery John. Samuel come on looking Fat but still move faster than Stern. Speaking about Samuel, I think he is a player that needs to get into a Rythym. He found his touch on de ball after a while.K. Jones did not really see enough of de ball to give any feedback on him. He ain't mistrap though...

I remember the las time we hold on to Colombia and give dem 4 in de ass down in de Orange bowl.
Well in all fairness, i believe the score was 4:3 in favor of Trini so de Colombians aint do bad but boy that game was Thunder.
First off we almost get outnumbered in de Stands. Well as a matter of fact we might have but nontheless Dem boys look good on de field. After de Colombians score de first one dey start to sing a song for de Trini's dem papa, The song go:
Oh yeh yeh, Oh Ah Ah- Colombia Tu Papa La Trinidad tu Mama!!
and dey going down the line with dat and to make a long story short De Trini massive was singing that in reverse by de end of de night. Yuh done know we have lil spanish/south american in we blood.
The Ticket ah get for speedin to de game $250.00
De popcorn de colombian knock out meh hand when dey score $3.50

First off, de man has always made himself available for selection and for Years had to settle with de Bench because Shaka blocking everything.
We done know Shaka is a First Class shot blocker as he is hailed in England. Clayton however continued to wait his turn and now it's his turn. Granted he should have handled his rise to first-string with a little more humility and grace howeve we cya take nothing away from Imps and as it stands he just might be all round better than Shaka right now. Sounds like Arrow throw wey de man already. If dey pickin 2 Arrow we still need Imps because that other guy, Mr. Jack really dont know he ass from he elbow when it comes to goalkeeping. Imps is we No.1 goalkeeper right now. Kinda how Keller get the nod over Brad Friedel at a time when Friedel was One of the biggest keepers (penalty saves in World cup) in the world. Of course Shaka being Brad friedel and Imps being Keller. Im sure it c an be argued as to who is the better goalkeeper between the two but we see who is runnig out now. Nuff said...

This man real outta place and cantangorous. Maybe dey never ask him for no help or something so he tryin to diss de program or maybe Birchall Mother break he heart or something but Corneal obviously mistook simply play for inneffective play. No I did not see de game but I get enough feedback to know that dat Birchall's simplicity was critical and calming to our unothrodox style of play. Dude might not have dribbled down the line but I don't think he mistrap either. Who can say what our style is, maybe with Beenie on board we may develop a style. We have always assumed our Athleticism and Individual ability was a style of play but a style of play comes from Team play. Teams develop styles not players. Allyuh, I went coaching school for a minute yuh know and I willing to say leh Alvin CowHeal hull he Mother's Father. He didnt have no style either, more so some St. Anthony's able bodys' that he could tell go run around the field. By the way, this is a personal attack. The same way he personally attack de whiteboy de other day. I would never diss a Russell Latapy or even Dawrika but that center-man style of Soccer is played out. Dem 2 man could run up de wings for me and bring in crosses for meh forwards and Attackin Mids but thats it. No more Juan Veron type playing. or Ronaldhino because we dont have them nor can we support that style. Liverpool vs Barcelona... the proof is in the pudding.

Midfield: 0 - None
Forwards1 - Glasgow
Which ever players do not make the squad is still owed a debt of gratitude for Wanting to and trying their personal best to represent we TrinBago. So I say nuff respect to dem man and give thanks for the heart and soul they brought to the warriors which some other nationals and by-nationals are lacking in.

It hard to build ah house without ah plan. In retrospect, I'm not sure if BSC had a plan or he just took it as it came. Leo sounds like he have a plan and also seems to be very head strong which comes in handy for a Trini Coach especially when is time to go up against Jack. I ain't mad at him for bringing in he own men. Wouldn't you?
The hopes and Dreams of the fans lie in Leo's hands. Give de man wha he want.
I suspect when Leo starts his program, the players are going to try their best to impress.
If Leo picks the hungriest Team, I feel confident that we can get a result against any of our opponents.

Latas had already stated that, If the situation arose, whilst being Coach,where it becomes necessary to run out on the field that he was prepared to do so. I suspect that Trini having to BEAT Panama for sure to even stay in the frame of things seems to warrant such an arrangement.

Football / The Chat Room was Alive for de Game Last Night.....

What can a man say, Well, being in the SW chatroom last night kinda eased de Tension of receiving a Guatemalan Thrashing. On de scene was man like Alberta, Topshotter, Sam, Touches, Triniwings, Triniman,and a host of others. Dem man was talkin real shit. Let me try and recap some of de better pecoong; A man say Bertille last seen Headin for the Garage, Lincoln Phillips warming up, Jack Coachin, Dwight Talkin to 2 gal by the goalpost, Jamerson & Marvin Faustin Call-ups, Bertille to Coach Jabloteh, Granny Lucess keychains for de whole Team. In de mean time mankind busy tryin to figure out what de Glad Spanish commentator sayin as well as livescores and ReggaeBoyz forum. Yes you heard it. Man had to rely on de RGBZ Forum to get info.
All in All, I think The Coaching Staff and then so the Team has forgotten that de Best Defence is a Strong Offence. BSC, I hold fully responsible for the Team's Action. One Poster said last night that All these Teams Panama, Guat, Costa Rica are fielding Players that are no better than ours however they are producing better results. Where is de Rat, I think within the Management, and the Managerial Head that most Directly affects the Team is BSC, yuh done know how it go, a Head have to Roll. Now we have to see what options are open to us. I Understand that Latas might be a young Coach, shit he even Young enough to Play with the Team. I heard someone shout out Fenwick whoever he is.
I think that Latas and Help can formulate the 90 degree turn that is necessary to try to re-cover from our recent run in Form. Why Latas, because he young, he is an Icon, de hands on must be better and de appreciation of OFFENCE might again be recognized. TRINIis has always been an OFFENSIVE Team and an Aggressive Team maybe a little like Nigeria use to be, but Nigeria always ensured that they scored at least one more goal than their opponents.

Inspire de Gary Glasgows, Dawrika's, Jemmot, Scotland, Span, Theobalds, Olivers, Latapys, Nixons, Sealy, Spann,Averys, Conrad, Hector.... Get them to take enough pride that nothing else matters, not Alcohol, not woman, not Ganja, not complacency.... You cant Win if yuh dont believe yuh can.
BSC doesn't have what it takes to Inspire De Team to Greatness......
Inspiration is 9/10 of the Law.....

If Striker/s are measured by their goals in the English Premiership and around the world then Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole are the Best Strikers EVER in the English Premiership as well as the best strike duo EVER in the premiership. If A striker is playing all he can play but is not scoring, he will be put into a different position on the field or Sold. That is a fact. In retrospect, since goals win Matches and Accolades, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole have done all that could be done in their League/s .They stand behind Alan Shearer alone on most goals ever scored in a season . However in addition to their goals scored, Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole also went on to help their Team lift all Three Titles whilst scoring all those goals Champions League, Premiere League, FA Cup. This in my estimation places THe Duo a notch above Alan Shearer as should other Gurus'.
We should be proud,drunk or sober, as kinsmen as well as countrymen that one of our own, Dwight Yorke, turned out to be one of the best strikers England and Europe and de World has ever seen.
