With Jack working his way back, Warner should have been given a chance.

Look at the kind of football he playing, FAR superior to the PFL.

I understand we have two outstanding young Keepers. Maybe they think our cupboard is so full that
we could coast a scene on Warner.

I must admit though, I am impressed with our Keeping options. I though Phillips did well considering the pressure he was under vs. Honduras.

In one of my previous posts I said that Daniel needs to find a club.......QUICK! His skill is degressing to the detriment of the team!
Sharpness,confidence,composure an don't forget his defensive frailties........is sorely lacking, he needs to bunch and play his more natural position,CM!   

I wouldn't say that his skill is degressing but he is definetely not fit and it showed last night. he needs to find a club even if it is tobago united.

Remember when he scored the goals against Cuba etc., he was playing with confidence and composure.
Now he seems so unsure with de ball at his feet and because of that his defence is more showing more (or lack of).
He did share some nice toolum on one or two occasions

That confidence only comes with playing regularly. What goin on with Daniel though, not even a pro league team lookin to sign him?

tt get lucky, wolfe get beat many times on the right, even towards the ending of the game, what game allyuh watch? we played much better in el sal

I actually think Wolfe had a solid game for a converted midfielder. What was so frustrating with our performance was that this game was there to be won. The only man creating was Carlos. It was a poor game of football overall and we didn't even need to play well to beat them. Maturana made a costly mistake with  not starting Hyland and in the end that mistake cost us 2 points

If he did start Hyland, de fuss ting outta peeps mout when dey see de startin lineup is WTF Maturana doin?  How he go take a man who eh start fuh T&T in bout 20 games and playin fuh a no name club in Belgium and start him?

Nutting Maturana do could please people. 

I was saying WTF when i saw Theobald starting.  Hyland has been playing well for his club and that should be the basis to get picked for the national team.

Honduras was made out yesterday. We were the better team throughout except for the first 10 minutes of the second half. Keon reali let me down yesterday and carlos was easily the best man on the pitch.

But in all seriousness Warrior Supporters!!! Is there nothing that we can do as supporters of our national football team (than put on the gears weself and play de damn game), to show our disapproval at this wanton disrespect of die hard supporters by this team over and over again.?....Ah mean!! Right now I watchin El Salvador play their heart out for their ppl against the USA!!....And while they may not win, you could actual see the passion in their play.....I am sick and tired of the pre-madonna brand we boys does gih we.....There is a certain level of ruthlessness you are supposed to come to the table with when you are playing home games and we never seem to display this until crunch time is upon us, and fans have already suffered several mild heart attacks and disappointments along the way...............Something have to be done dread!!!

I 100% support your assessment.  I am actually disappointed in the lack of passion our players does display with.  No kinda urgency atall.  We down 0-1 and men walking, the keeper taking he time to kick the ball, no kinda passion atall.  More than anything else that does frustrate me.  El Salvador players playing pel mel against the US and we players going through the motions at home, steups.
It had a part in the game late where KJ facing A. Edwards close to the corner flag, he cudda pass the ball and let the man serve it in the box, he chose to hold onto it and loss the ball.  I rather play with ah whole local based team because them men go play hard.....we need players to bring it or doh come back and play fuh we...talk done...

Di same local based team that loss to grenada?

Tonight we not just lacked intensity but organisation and creativity. This looked like a T&T from the nineties and pre-Benhakker. With the absence of Yorke & Birchall, we lacked creativity and control of the mid-field. Keon Daniel did not have a good game and even though Carlos Edwards tried, I have seen him play much better.

Today was a case for Carlos to lead from the front but he looked ordinary. Also, like our players did not what to do in the last third of the field and I am still wondering why our defense still cannot deal properly with set plays.

Thank goodness Honduras was not at their best or we would have been annilated like in 2001 when they massacred us 4-2. However, a point is a point and once again I say that we are off to a better start than in the last campaign. Problem is now USA, COSTA RICA and MEXICO back to back.

We need to improve and fast. I for one would have started with Kenwyne Jones ahaed of John or Scotland and Latapy ahead of Keon Daniel or one of the other midfielders.


Then again, I am not the coach.

Were u at the game?   Carllos was by far our best player and thats the best ive seen him play in a national shirt since 06.  Also at this phase we need youth over experience  hyland and birchall to start the remainder of games.

How reliable is this source? He wasn't there, and who told he that?

                                                                                                                              I would say pretty reliable because many former national players like Maurice and co. still have close ties with the national team.

D biggest concern  our national team hav for d hex rite now is age.  Most ah we men real old and yuh can't expect ah bunch of men ova 30 2 last 90 minutes.   Dis is where I respect Maturana for giving d yute like keon akile and hyland d chance to step up. Yorke might not last 45 and all we gettin outa lataz is twenty minutes.
