Hello Fishs,
Sorry I took so long about Bro. Resistance. His name is Roy Lewis. He was into the student movement scence in the aftermath of the Black Power and Army revolt of 1970. He was from EDR, Upper Quarry street. he used to dj in the blockos at the time. While in 6th form, he won the first national high school dj competition held on Radio Trinidad. Then I think he or the other 6th formers(Ralph Legendre, Rex Barrow, Caesar, etc) came up with the sobriquet Resistence. I think he went to UWI and was involved with Black Stalin, Valentino, Black Truth Rythm Band, Mau-Mau drummers and probably Andre Tanker(I am not sure). He was heavy into Black and African culture stuff
