Despite the reasons for demanding the money before-hand...it still came off as very crass, especially when we have the story of the Greece team who asked that declined their bonuses and want them to go towards building a new training facility.
I'm not a follower of GoT, but, having read comments here, I am curious. Went to Dunluce Castle some days ago and learned that it was incorporated into GoT in a modified way. Had no idea because this series has been off my radar.
However, it came up again today. Viewed the Brazil-Chile fixture at the Nook at the Giant's Causeway. Seated next to me was a family who had just come from special access to the filming site in Belfast, courtesy a relative involved with the series. They were not allowed to film aside from at one location just before exiting.
Find it interesting how much convo this series stimulates.
Man the books are even worse - there are forum threads nearly a hundred pages long (and some way over) debating theories about the characters, some of which were confirmed others not yet. The world is so rich with intrigue and dynasties that you can easily get absorbed by the drama .
it's unbelievable that some of these guys don't have bank accounts...smh
Why we cant have neeat small staiums like that, man
How you know that's the truth, Socapro?
The Express gives an account from the relatives of the boys and the Guardian gives an account from the residents who say the boys were involved in badness. It also lists the charges they were wanted on - attempted murder, sexual assault, robbery, etc.
If you piece the two articles together the picture it paints is that the boys were fleeing some other bad-boys, there was shooting, police responded to the scene and were shot at. They then shot two of the boys. Whether it was during the fire-fight (police returning fire as they said) or whether they apprehended them and then shot them is in dispute. I think it is possible that the police apprehended them and then shot them. But I also do not believe the boys were innocent "Carifta stars" like you are portraying.
so when them karate men bow to each other before a fight, thats not respect?
Sometimes I think we forget a virtue called humility.
Anybody have a recorded version of the game. From the highlights I didn't see a single shot from our team. Anybody went Kerry Jameson and try thing?
Anybody have a copy of the full game, please?
As much as it pains me to say this it really sickens me that this has been used politically to tarnish the reputation of the minister. I say this because Marlene Mcdonald mentioned this video over a year ago in Parliament which means that the PNM must have known about this video for over a year. It is unfortunate that they waited a whole year to release this video. They could have saved us a whole extra year of Anil. Steupsssss
