Politics notwithstanding , He is confident of a good relationship with the Ministry. Really- What Planet did he just appear from, except of course he is a drinking partner with Anil.

I was sad to See Goltv go but Being TV AND fOXSPORTS GAVE ME - ENGLAND- FRANCE _ SPANISH LEAGUE .
BeIng Sports are also giving me the South American World Cup Qualifiers. So I am not complaining

Tallman , I see Keep your mouth shut Tim Kee looking for your endorsement. I know the man , a decent fellow but no testicular fortitude. Tim Kee was too much part of the Camps Brigade. Colin Murray is the man for the job. he has the business connection and with Carib in support will not go hand in glove to the Ministry. Finally Alvin Corneal and that Maple connection will have Tim Kee in their pocket.

The latest mantra- Man have to eat ah food. Throw enough Canadian dollars at him and guess what- Hart here he comes. From his resignation letter he just may be the man to start the development process, but we Trinis like instant success.

What is the score- All this hype one would have thought that we would get a running commentary. With all this technology, we have to wait until the morrow.

I saw The Trinidad vs Canada game in Florida. I said before that Canada was not making it to the hex based on the performance against T&T. Corncurls was terrorizing them down the wing and had T&T not bun with the pickup side on show , we easily could have won this game. Sad for Hart, it looks like the end of the line for him. 8-1- Unacceptable and unbelievable.

Well you cant make something that is already there? so the man is right . He benefited,,embezzled, extort money from football. There is something called Harvest time- The day of judgment- When all shall be revealed. Notice Jack has been praying a lot, check him out at Mt StBenedict. Judgment is mine said the Lord, But then forgiveness is always an option , if he would come clean. If Jack had listened to his grandmother he would hear those words of wisdom- What you do in the dark will come to light, and the longest rope has an end.

We saving the big boys for the big dance. Remember God is a trini and we locals are the best in the Caribbean. So it is a matter of how many goals we will score against these minions. Remember we are a footballing power house in the Caribbean, lest we forget we made it to a World Cup. Let not your hearts be troubled. I had a wonderful conversation with Tallman at the Miami carnival yesterday. He made the point that most of the locals have come through the under 17's- Under19"s and those are the guys from the developmental program.

We always using the band aid method. If you do not deal with the problem the problem will deal with you.
Not to decide is in truth to decide. We use Jack to bail out the team for years with Camp as his accomplice. We kept Quiet because money talks and Jack saw and conquered. The PS from the ministry is right, these players and managers are wasting taxpayers money. Touches has a point , no commitment from the players . I saw it myself against Canada in Florida. Men coasting and the locals seemed not interested.
Well the Chinese will say every crisis is an opportunity.  Let us see who would step up to the plate- TSTT- Digicel- Lottery board for this trip. Then elections for a new federation.

Let common sense reign. Juve is a good side and they have a really good defence with men having the ability to read the game well. Mikel had a bad day and the midfield was not feeding Torres who was isolated. I still think we are playing too slow and need to up the tempo. The coach needs to get his starting line up right but I guess it is early season.

Sando - I share your sentiments and to add insult to injury. the commentators were saying Caribbean teams
do not travel well. Jamaica really looked like Trinidad lately, I think the Coach has to take some blame for after parking the bus and seeing the ball hit the post on three occasions, Yuh know it aint working.
Having pressured the ball in the first game and using the pace of your forwards to unsettle USA - Why not go with that strategy. Jamaica showed USA too much respect. now they are in danger of not getting the second spot. USA have Antigua and Guatemala at home . JA beating Guatemala at home is not an easy task.
It may well go down to Goal difference.

Venezuela had a big win against Paraguay. South America qualifiers is something else, sheer pace and counter attack football. Although I am backing Canada as the coach is a TRINI, I think Panama and Honduras will make it out of this group. Guatemala may just spoil it for Jamaica in their group.

« on: September 09, 2012, 09:41:04 PM »
Now that was Coach. As a Malvernite I can testify to Robbie's honesty and integrity. When most of his team left for the Regiment and some young pretenders from other teams wanted to play for Malvern, I once asked him- Mr Greenidge how is it that you are playing Mr Saldenha  before Mr Ramdoo. I will never forget his reply- Unless these youngsters understand what it is to wear the wine and white, they will never make this team despite their obvious talent. He taught Buggy Haynes and Kelvin Berassa the importance of the fans in football and the responsibility of being part of the Glamour boys.
What a Coach and what a wonderful Individual. We shared some wonderful footballing moments at the All Saints Rectory.
