Do they always bury people like the President in laparose cemetary i thought there was a special place  for people like him .

Not really, I think is the wishes of the individual and the family. Williams was cremated. I remember Bhadase Maraj had a state funeral and was cremated by the Caroni. So when Patos and Bas time come(God Bless their souls), is Mosquito Creek for one and Paradise Pasture for the other.

I seemed to remember Noor Hassanali's service was under a tent under Muslim rites. (Remembering the Mrs asking the reporters and cameramen for some respect and to give her time to do his last rites)  Media people so frigging disguising..stupes!!

Anyhoo, there was a memorial service for him at Queen's Hall or was Central Bank Auditorium?
Where are George Chambers and Sir Solomon?

Jokes / The Balloon
« on: December 24, 2010, 08:23:38 AM »
A little boy blows up a balloon and starts flicking it all around the house with his finger.

His mother tells him to  stop it as he's liable to break something, but the boy continues.

"Johnny!" Mom screams. "Knock it the hell off...you're going to break something."  He stops and eventually Mom leaves for a short trip to the shopping center.  Johnny starts up with the balloon again after his mom has left for the store...

He gives it one last flick and it lands in the toilet where he leaves it.  Mom comes in and while putting away the groceries gets the urge...
A diarrhea run.

She can hardly make it to the toilet in time and SPLASH, out it comes.  When she's finished, she looks down and can't believe what she's seeing.

She's not sure what this big brown thing  is in the toilet! She calls her doctor. The doctor is baffled as she describes the situation, but he assures her he'll be over shortly to examine everything.

When he arrives she leads him to the bathroom and he
gets down on his knees and takes a long, hard look at the thing.

Finally, he takes out his pen and sort of touches it to see what it might be and POP! The balloon explodes and poop is everywhere.

On him, the walls, etc. "Doctor! Doctor! Are you all right?" she asks.

He says, "I've been in this business for over 30 years and this is the first time I've ever actually seen a fart !"

http://www.guardian.co.tt/beta/news/2010/12/22/smokey-dies-miami-hospital

Popular St James businessman, “Smokey” (Ricardo McKenzie), of Smokey and Bunty’s, died yesterday afternoon at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, where he was hospitalised for the past five months.
Relatives are still awaiting his doctor’s report stating the cause of death, his brother, bandleader Ian McKenzie, said yesterday. He would have turned 57 on December 30,

A sorrowful McKenzie, who spoke shortly after he heard the news, said: “He died with two of his daughters and his wife at his bedside.” McKenzie said his brother had two operations for cancer at Westshore Medical and St Clair Nursing Home in T&T before he went to Jackson Memorial. He added: “He had one in September last year and one in June this year. After the two operations in T&T, he was exercising and running. All the cancer was gone.

“When he died nothing was wrong with any of his organs.” McKenzie said his brother started Smokey and Bunty’s, an established drinking spot in St James at the corner of Dengue Street and Western Main Road, from scratch some 20-plus years ago. “Smokey”, the second to last in a family of 17 children was born in Belmont. He spent the rest of his life in Diego Martin and St James. He has three daughters and a grandson.
His longstanding business partner “Bunty” (Renaldo Munroe) could not be contacted.

Nah I really cannot watch that photo with a serious face.

But Tallman I find we should have this all year through. Have a permanent thread for donations paypal or credit card. That way people can drop ein small change whenever. By year end it have a couple of dollars more in the kittie and then for the annual donation drive, we could just add both together.

win win situation.

I only made it to 11:43 pm last night. I was leaning up on the cold wall to stay awake just to see something. Only thing I got was the full moon :-\  Time I got up from a little nap it was after 1:00 am and the moon moved to the other side of the building.   Only to hear this morning the full eclipse took place between 1:00 and 3:00 am.

So much for that!!
