T&TFF makes request for 10,101 World Cup tickets.
By: Nigel Simon, Corey Connelly (Guardian).
[/size]

The T&T Football Federation has officially put in a request for eight per cent of the tickets available for the three matches involving the Soca Warriors at the World Cup finals which comes off in Germany from June 9 to July 9. This was confirmed by Oliver Camps, president of the T&TFF and its special advisor Austin Jack Warner, yesterday.
Asked how many tickets were requested, Warner said the Federation had asked for the maximum eight per cent. Pressed to give an exact figure, Warner noted that this will not be known until a reply from FIFA was received.
Guardian checks reveal that should FIFA allocate the full quota of tickets to T&T based on the Purchasable Ticket Capacity (PTC) of the venues, the T&TFF could find itself with a total of 10,101 tickets for the three matches.
On that basis, T&T will receive 4,061 tickets for the match against Sweden on June 10 at the Westfalen Stadion in Dortmund which has a PTC of 50,768 spectators.
For the next two matches, the tickets decrease to 3,074 for the June 15 game against England at the Franken Stadion, Nuremberg which has a PTC of 38,437 while 2,966 tickets is available for the match versus Paraguay on June 20 at the Fritz Walter Stadion in Kaiserslautern which has a PTC of 37,084 spectators.
Asked what will happen when the tickets reach the T&TFF and how they will be be sold, Camps said the TTFF must wait and see what was the exact allocation.
“Our next step will be to determine a format on how we will be selling the tickets to the general public because at the moment we know for sure that the demand for tickets will surpass the supply,” stated Camps.
Warner had revealed on Wednesday that there were 8,000 requests for tickets.

Tickets for all three categories.

WHILE he was unable to ask for more than the alloted eight per cent of tickets, Camps noted that they had also made application for three categrories of tickets that were available from four for the Group B matches. The three categories carry prices of 100, 60 and 45 Euros or TT $758.97, TT $455. 38 and TT $341.47 per match.

Open sales.

World Cup tickets allocated to the T&TFF will be made available to the entire population of T&T to purchase.
This was the view of both Camps and Warner when asked who will have first preference to the purchase of the tickets.
Warner said when the tickets are given to the T&TFF, anyone who applied will get tickets. “How many at this point in time, we can’t say,” he said.
“But, I will tell you that Simpaul’s will get tickets as everybody else and the tickets that Simpaul’s will get will be made public and can be justified. But, nothing so far has been allocated to Simpaul’s or anybody else.”
Questions had been earlier raised when Simpaul’s Travel Service began advertising packages, inclusive of tickets, in the daily newspapers as it was felt that the company had infact earned the right to be the sole sellers of tickets for T&T group matches.
However Warner has since made it known that the tickets that were being advertised and sold by Simpaul’s were purchased through an European tour operator long before the Soca Warriors had even qualified for Germany. “What they (tour operator) have done is to give Simpaul’s the right to use the title of exclusive tour operator.”

exactly. if that liburd article isnt run or the fans dont pressure warner then this doesnt get done in this fashion. so good to see that. the fact that this coming out now shows that warner knows he get cyetch regarding this whole ticket situation.

now lets see if they can properly distribute these tix... thatll probably be a whole nother debacle. no more scrap book.

but a word of caution: jack officially releases many things (ie friendlies). so ill believethis when i hear more about it, and they have a efficient distribution setup ready to roll. but good news so far.

10101 is way more tickets that any of the other caluclations I have seen on this site, and I myself have seen the capacity breakdown off all the stadiums, and after you remove what FIFA has set aside for press, etc...It never came up to such a high figure.

How Simpauls now competing against the common man in the street for tickets out of this allocation?  We had how many thousands of tickets available for the game against Bahrain and you could only buy 4 a piece, but with this limited supply they gonna let Simpauls come in and buy a large block.
I thought Simpauls had already bought their tickets from some agency?
How was that agency able to determine that Simpauls was the exclusive package seller, are there not other companys selling tickets to other travel agencies? Could not another travel agency go buy a block of tickets and sell their own packages?
I myself thought that the only way to get tickets was from your FA and from the FIFA website.

So how come all the other federations selling tickets already and we now looking to request our 8% and still don't have a format on how to sell these tickets?  Couldn't somebody have spent the past month since the draw took place to come up with a viable solution?

Well it looks like Jack was deliberately dragging his feet to put the fear in people's hearts and cause some fans to jump the gun and buy through Simpauls.  Now that its clear that they are not the only source for TTFF tickets I guarantee that not one more Simpauls package will be sold until such time as the TTFF allocation is sold out.

JW didn't know he would wake a sleeping Giant when he dediced to Fack with the Warrior Nation crew......this site and its supporters are a testament to that and is a paradigm shift in the way the administration/godfathers of football use to think they could do underhand stuff and nobody will say nutten !!!!!!!!!!

Additionally:
How is the distribution rights going to be determined by the ttff and more importantly how does the TTFF decide how much to give Simpauls.

AS with any comapny looking to make a profit....if TTFF is selling these tickets as a block to a privately owned company it should be doing so at a profit.....so that should be JW's and Ollie's next disclosure....

me and soca pro said 9614.

This isn't that many more and if you see below it was to expected to get more.
On top of that the VP is from TnT !!

(**) "Purchasable Ticket Capacity" means the Total Seating Capacity less tickets reserved for the media and press, VIP requirements and complimentary tickets. This capacity is based on maximum media requirements and may change once these requirements are finally determined.
Rumor has it that every other thing you read or hear is just a rumor.

Fellas, trust meh..take dat with ah pinch ah salt...things still not adding up. all ah hearing is nancy stories..Rem theslogan "ticket or leave it" that was when they said they had all the tickets and dem alone could see it. Rem they paid TTFF 500,000TT for the rights to sell them..steups..so if they don't have the damn tickets...what de hell that 500,000TT was for then? eh tell me..Rem also JW said they was the official travel agency for the TTFF and they earned the right to have exclusive use of the tickets..ppl open your eyes..if you forget..just do some search on this site and read about all the past, present and future lies..it's just lies on top of lies...anyways ah still waiting and see what next. Tomorrow is another day!

Big Up to Transparency in the TTFF!
