Trevor "Burnt Boots" Smith:
He was banned because he pull "ah Nakhid". He tried to get better payment for the players during the 1969 CONCACAF Nations Cup in Costa Rica. He was de trainer. It was considered an act of indiscipline because de players almost went on strike during the tournament.

Jimmy Springer:
I think he was banned because he refused to play for T&T in de 1971 CONCACAF Nations Cup.

De players had demanded two pairs of boots, insurance for the duration of the tournament, track and sweat
shirts, proper hotel accomodation, a bonus tour to Canada if victorious, four (4) passes per player,
security for loss of earnings and $500 for out of pocket expenses. Instead, they got 1 pass, a track suit and sweat shirt and $150 out of pocket. Everybody accepted de package except Springer.
The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

You see how people take their opportunities and waste them. A bonus tour if they win.  But what about the two teams, why were they  banned?

Colts and Challengers were two teams that openly protested against the Football administration,i'm not sure about Colts but Challengers players picketed Football House on Dundonald street.
