In reading today's Express, I came across an article which quoted Panday as saying that ' having slept with the devil for political power, he is now inclined to sleep with the devil's father-- God to restore him to power and bring down the PNM"
While this ambitious polirtician strives for political gain, it is not astonshing to see that the general good of the people is secondary to his personal vendetta and his personal ambition for power.
Why is it that others are caught up in this kind of rhetoric and senseless irresponsible leadership form the opposition?
As the electorates cry out for change, given the soical climate of crime and proliferation of killings, the tendency is to lay blame on the party who is presently in power. I wonder what platform or solutions will be evident from the present opposition? why have this opposition leader not devise a platform to address solutions to these dastradly ills which plagues our nation?
Why resort to personal attacks on afew individuals and talk of betrayal and power when the common good of the nation is hanging on to the mercy of one wanting power?
As anation we need to take our elected politicians to task and denounce these interanl squabbling and outlandish statements from those who desire to lead.
