W Connection ready for title defence.

Fresh from a tour of Venezuela, Vibe CT 105 W Connection are ready for whatever the opposition has in store for them. Club President David John Williams believes his team is as well prepared as can be for another long season—he told ttproleague.com, “From all reports on our short tour of Venezuela, we have performed creditably against quality opposition and the boys are in fine form and are all eager to get the season off and running.”
W Connection played five games on their trip to Venezuela—won four and drew one. Connection played Venezuela’s National under 21 team twice and defeated them 1-0 and then battled to a goalless draw.
The ‘Savonetta Boys’ edged top Venezuelan club team Caracas FC 1-0, the Pro League Champions also handed Italia Venezuela a 3-0 beating and then hit eight [8] unanswered goals past the University of Santa Maria 8-0.
Technical Director Stuart Charles Fervier was also quite pleased with the team’s performance and is also of the opinion his charges are ready for the defence of its League title this season.
“The guys are looking sharp, we are coming together nicely and I believe we are ready for the start of the new season.”
Club Owner David John Williams admitted W Connection would be under some pressure heading into the new season, having done so well last season, winning the League comfortably, and also taking away the First Citizens Bank and Toyota Classic titles.
“At W Connection we are always under pressure to perform, because of our club’s history, our fans demand that we do well at all times—but we are not overwhelmed by the challenge before us. We know what we need to do, we have prepared well and we will defend our titles with passion this season, I know it won’t be easy, but I am expecting us to do very well again this year.”
Mr. John Williams is excited about the overall season, saying, “This should be a bumper season, with the League expanding, Joe Public and Starworld Strikers coming back into the fray, this year should be fantastic, I expect it to be highly competitive.”
He added, “This all augurs well for the League and by extension Trinidad and Tobago’s football and I urge the crowds to come out and support the League and its players.
The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

wish them the best this was the 1st true professional unit in terms of how things were done off the field. ok so the teams firing small warnings but what is being done to get the local crowd back to football 1stly by the PFL and secondly by the respective clubs what are they doing to deepen their fan base
seek ye 1st the kingdom of God & his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you
