Grovesnor, Romain trebles keep Jabloteh youths on top.

Qian Grovesnor scored his first hat trick of the season as CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh won for the sixth straight match in the Under-16 Division of the T&T Professional Football League.
Grovesnor, a member of the National Under-16 team got his goals in Jabloteh’s 6-0 blow-out of Caledonia AIA Fire at St Anthony’s College Ground, Westmoorings on Saturday.
Anthony Guppy, Stephen Knoxx and Franz Husbands were the other scorers for Jabloteh now with 18 points, five clear of second placed AIA/Fire.
Shervon Frederick also scored three goals for VIBE CT 105 W Connection (12 points) Under-16’s in their 9-0 hammering of National Quarries North East Stars at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.
Frederick netted his goals in the 30th, 59th and 79th minutes, while Shardon Winchester added two and Orin Branker, Dion Garcia, Marvin Manswell and Trent Lougheed one each.
Jevon Morris secured a second win for Tobago United with two goals in a 2-1 win over Defence Force at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar.
Jonathan Romain of Jabloteh and Matthew Bartholomew of W Connection scored three goals each for their clubs in huge Under-18 Division wins.
Romain got his goals in Jabloteh’s 10-1 demolition of AIA/Fire while Lester Peltier, a member of the National Under-16 team, added a double.
Jason Devonish, Kitwana Osei, Elijah Manners, Terryl Elwyn and Elton John chipped in with the others for Jabloteh, now with 16 points from six matches. Bartholomew scored in the 17th, 31st and 81st minutes in his team’s 9-1 triumph over North East Stars.

W Connection 9 (M.Bartholomew 17th, 31st, 81st, Kerron Clarke 29th, Silas Spann 48th, Keron Garib 52nd, Kendall Penny 62nd, Akil Joseph 75th, Kevin Williams 84th) vs North East Stars 1 (Daniel Joseph 8th).

Defence Force 2 (Ricardo Peltier 47th, Leon Anderson 51st) vs Tobago United 2 (Stephan St Louis 14th, Keith Williams 67th).

jabloteh doing fine in these leagues hopefully these youths will all soon become PFL players in the country and help develop the league.

i read that last year the jabloteh u14 team lost one match in four competitions and scored 99 goals with  only 1 goal against let in in the last match when they fielded an understrength side. now that is football.
