W Connection dumps U-18 champ Jabloteh.

W Connection made certain a new winner will be declared in the T&T Pro League Under-18 knockout competition by beating last year’s winner San Juan Jabloteh 2-0 in the semifinal.
Matthew Bartholomew and Christian Filipie Ocoro scored for W Connection at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva on Sunday.
The winner will meet United Petrotrin in the final. Petrotrin got the better of pre-match favourites Joe Public, 5-4 on penalty-kicks, in the second semifinal at the same venue.
The Under-18 final takes place tomorrow at Couva from 4 pm, while the Under-14 and Under-16 finals are carded for Sunday at 2.30 pm and 4 pm.
The Couva-based W Connection is also in the Under-14 final after a 3-0 shut-out of North East Stars.
Ryan Frederick, Akeem Deacon and Daquille Matthews scored for the winmer on the Ato Boldon Stadium training field on Saturday.
W Connection meets CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh, who defeated Superstar Rangers 4-1, with goals from Reshad Wint (2) and Vernell Ramirez and Jerron Jones.
In the Under-16 Division, Caledonia AIA and Superstar Rangers won their matches at Couva on Saturday to reach the final.
Caledonia AIA beat Eastern Lions 5-4 on penalty-kicks after a 2-2 deadlock at the end of regulation time.
National Under-15 striker Jan-Luc Rochford got a double for Joe Public in the 24th and 73rd minutes, while Aquil Selby (75th) and Joseph Baird (80th) replied for Caledonia AIA to send the match into penalties.
Rangers took the lead in their semifinal through Emmery Joyeau in the 34th minute, Martin Muhammad tied the score two minutes later. But with extra- time looming, Jelani Grovesnor fired in a 75th minute winner for Rangers. T&T Pro League Youth Knockout semifinals:

(Under-14 Division)

San Juan Jabloteh 4 (Reshad Wint 2, Vernell Ramirez, Jerron Jones) vs Superstar Rangers 1.

W Connection 3 (Ryan Frederick, Akeem Deacon, Daquille Matthews) vs North East Stars 0.

(Under-16 Division)

Joe Public 2 (Jan Luke Rochford 24th, 73rd) vs Caledonia AIA 2 (Aquil Selby 75th, Joseph Baird 80th).
Caledonia AIA won 5-4 on penalty-kicks.

Superstar Rangers 2 (Emmery Joyeau 34th, Jelani Grovesnor 75th) vs Defence Force 1 (Martin Muhammad 36th).

(Under-18 Division)
