Mané was entitled to go for that ball. His eyes were entirely on the ball. Similar situations have been ruled otherwise.

I seeing quite a few empty seats. This a home game for Man. City. Why is that?

I would be more incensed if Ederson jumped up minutes after Mané was carded. No issue regarding the contact.

In my view, video intervention in situations like these would produce a different outcome. Nothing against the goalkeepers union and protecting GKs, but current arrangements place a tad more of a burden on the attacking player.

Once Ederson left the penalty area the burden also shifted because he couldn't use his hands and the ball was too high for him to kick, but not for Mané to ignore.

Perfectly good game mash up now.

Kun Aguero scored his 124th goal. The goal put him past Dwight Yorke as having scored more goals than any player in the league not from Europe.

Dwight held on to that record for about 15 yrs...not bad

City had Burnley to hang this morning. Burnley persevered and got a point. Football is a cruel sport at times. Sterling was the main culprit in a City dropping 2 points. But City is sailing pretty much safely for the championship.

Is it I don't know the off-side rules. Yesterday Aubameyang scored a goal, and I swore he was a mile off-side. Then today Spurs got 2 penalties. Kane missed the first. But they look kind of soft. No disrespect to the Spurs fans.

That game real piss me off boy. There's even a clip showing the linesman pumping his fist. Something was wrong with this game. I do admit Liverpool didn't do as well the 2nd half but should've taken the 3 points hands down. I had respect for Tottenham before, not anymore.

Chelsea got clobbered 4-1, albeit playing with 10 men. I am afraid Conte might get the axe. It will be sad if this does happens. because I think Conte is a very good coach, and the intense competition and huge money of the premier league causing impatient owners to make "rash" or business decisions. But Watford put on a goal scoring display this evening. It they play like this for the rest of the season, teams  underestimating them will be it at their own peril.

Did not see the game. Yes, Breds, Manchester Blood and Sand. Good for football in the NE. City, Liverpool, UTD and maybe Everton, they have to improve.  Although City has played the best football by far, followed by Liverpool, it as appears that they are wobbling towards the end. Last Tuesday's game against Pool was perplexing. It is not the lost so much, but the manner in which they lost that game. UTD playing for 2nd spot, which is not a given, and pride. Not to mention the rivalry and playing away. City will win the league but will have to work for it. Pepe must realized that City is not Barca, this is not LaLiga, and he does not have Messi.

That was a hell of a game. It would be hard for anyone to top that today.

The last time Spurs beat Arsenal at the Emirates was 2010. Wenger mostly had problems with the away games.
