Starworld double suspended plus fined.

Starworld Strikers captain Marc Borde and goal keeper Marvin Phillip will be out of a few League games after receiving suspensions for matters dealing with misconduct.
The meeting was convened on September 11th at the Pro League’s office, Valpark Plaza, Valsayn under the presence of Messrs. Boris Punch and Wayne Caesar.
The Starworld pair received stiff bans; keeper Marvin Phillip received a four match suspension plus a fine of $300 for insulting and abusive language, while Captain Marc Borde got a three match suspension and a fine of $250 for offensive language and gestures.
CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh’s Anthony Peters received a one match suspension plus a fine of $250 for offensive language and gestures.
These suspensions will be in effect from the upcoming TT Pro League matches; however the players will be entitled to play in the First Citizens’ Cup.
Another Starworld player Dexter Franklyn is also in the mix and expected to face sanctions, plus San Juan Jabloteh’s Aurtis Whitley, Ronald Primus, W Connection’s Christopher Harvey and Caledonia’s Anthony Thompson all failed to appear before the disciplinary committee and another letter will be sent to them, failing which, the matter will be discussed in their absence.
Meantime, Joe Public’s Lyndon Andrews failed to appear before the committee for the second time—and is now suspended from all games until he appears before the committee.
