Real Dimension had already won the 2006 Trinidad and Tobago Women's Football League before going down 2-1 to defending champions Joe Public Ladies in their final league game on Saturday.
Last week, Real Dimension won the title after a 4-1 demolition over Central United, who were the only other unbeaten team in the competition going into the game.
On Saturday, Real Dimension also lost their unbeaten tag against Joe Public, who had won the league title for the last two seasons.
Real Dimension finished with 21 points after winning seven of their eight league games, two ahead of Joe Public. Central United finished third with 17 points from five victories, two draws and a single loss during the season. Winners of the FA Trophy last season, Real Dimension will be looking for the double this season by winning the knockout trophy as well.
