Intercol champions San Juan Senior Comprehensive will take the field again tomorrow when they come up against the Foreign Based Internationals in a re-union match at the front ground of the University of the West Indies Campus, St Augustine.
The match will be held to honour some of the past players of the Foreign Based International Association— those who have played for the association at some point in time and those who have passed away.
San Juan will have a number of guest players from Fatima College, Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive and St Augustine Senior Comprehensive for the encounter in a move to beef up the team.
The encounter will kick off at 3.30 pm.
Also expected to grace the proceedings are former national players Darren Lewis, the Belmont Intermediate stand-out; Gary Gibbons, a star of Fatima College; Kevin Geoffreys, outstanding El Dorado player; and Keiron Bonito, a past St Anthony’s College player. Dion Sosa, match organiser and past player said yesterday that banners highlighting some of the teams that represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Caribbean Cup in the United States annually will be on display.
Leslie “Tiger” Fitzpatrick, who was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago who played in the early rounds of the World Cup qualifiers in 2005 is also expected to participate in tomorrow’s match.
The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.
