Congrats fellas. Question i was always meaning to ask....how did they pick the players for this?
The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today are Christians who acknowledge Jesus ;with their lips and walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

T&T goes down 0:5 to Guatemala

in the other evening match Mexico 2:2 Cuba

Guatemala beat Trinidad and Tobago 5-0 on Tuesday night and went on to command Group A of the CONCACAF futsal finals being held in this Central American country and which provides for three spots for the World Cup Brazil 2008.

The Caribbean team had a clear chance to open the scoring in the second minute of the game, but thereafter the Chapins took control of the ball and began creating scoring opportunities.

However, as overwhelming as the dominance over their rival was, it took 15 minutes for Rafael Gonzalez to get the first score of the meeting, and he scored again at 17 minutes so that Guatemala took the advantage at the break with 2-0.

The locals continued to dominate after the break and at 27 minutes the defender Serlin O'Brian accidentally diverted the ball into his own net to make it a 3-0 game.

The last two scores in the meeting were the work of Daniel Tejada and Marlon Noja, 28 minutes and 38, respectively, to position Guatemala in first place of Group A, ahead of Mexico and Cuba that hours before drew 2-2, and left Trinidad and Tobago at the bottom of the table.

This Wednesday evening, Guatemala will face Mexico before the next round, while Trinidad and Tobago will meet Cuba.

...Mexico draw against Cuba.
[/size]

Guatemala topped Trinidad & Tobago by a score of 5:0 in a Group A encounter at the 2008 CONCACAF Futsal Championship at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City on Tuesday evening.

In the other group encounter, Mexico played to a 2:2 draw against Cuba for the first time in a CONCACAF Futsal Tournament. Eduardo Morales had two both goals for the Leones del Caribe, while Victor Omar Quiroz and Israel Santoyo scored for the Tricolores.

The 2008 CONCACAF Futsal Championship continues on Wednesday with four encounters at the Domo Polideportivo. Haiti meet Costa Rica, while Panama take on the USA in Group B matches early in the day, while later Trinidad & Tobago face Cuba and then Guatemala host Mexico.
