First and foremost,
I want to take this opportunity to thank 'Tallman & Flex" for making this SOCA WARRIORS online discussion forum available to us all. To be able to be away from Trinidad and feel this connected has been uplifting.

This forum is informative, interactive, engaging and resourceful for all to share in. It invites sharing, constructive criticisms, Trini ole talk' and 'pounding' all of which yuh have tuh be 'Trini' tuh take.

Initially when the change over from the last format was made, there were some criticisms. It would appear to me that people have gotten used to this format and those concerns have been alleviated.

The organization, the categories and sections are well laid out depending on the topic. Threads could be followed and retrieved easily. Surveys, graphs and statistical data are very succinct. It even allows for personal emails. and informative links.

It is not difficult to be a part of this forum community nor to contribute to the site. The folks in here makes it possible to connect and for all to stay connected: why, because we all have a common passion for our respective team, country and people to do well in our eyes and in the international scene.

We advocate strongly and passionately for our beliefs and who we are as nationals of TNT; whether we are at home or abroad, from North , South, East or West, this site connects and unifies us in our common pursuit; young or old, we are on equal level in our sharing and advocacy. I have learned much from the insights of others in regards to what is happening on the local scene, what has happened and what is ahead of us. I have enjoyed the personal match reports and the 'chatroom' lime when a game is on. I missed out on the Miami lime but I know there will be ample opportunities to connect with foruminities and fans of TNT. I am looking forward to that.

I salute the moderators Tallman and Flex once more; their time in maintaining and composing this site is not even close to the little I have to offer. Fellas ah gone on Holidays!!!! ah go check once in awhile for meh daily fix but continue the relentless VOICE for TNT. "rain does shine Breeze doh blow but yuh cyar stop we!!!!!!!"

I am somewhat appalled by the apparent discussions of bravado in relations to longevity on the board.

Does it matter if one was on from 03 or from 06? I will say this again it was by accident when I stumbled upon this forum when it was on the old site....back.... well before it transformed to this format.

In no way do I feel any more advantaged due to length of time on the board. I am encouraged by the growth and the eclectic range of people, gender, age and topics being discussed and shared by all.

This forum is an example of the positive ways in which we could rally around a nation, a cause and a culture to produce positive results for the individual and for the country. One only has to examine the byproducts that this forum created:

The Warrior Nation initiative

Ato's contributions

The advocacy for an increased fan base and for 'die hard' fans to receive ticket allotments

Woman and man could come together and share some ole talk virtually...

Look at all the 'sweats' being played and advertised locally and internationally.

look at all the friendships which have been established.....

You may add your own personal gains and those of others.....So before we go and bring down others remember:

1. If yuh want to recall a topic , do a search; the topic still dey..

2. The PAST is --HISTORY; The FUTURE-is a MYSTERY and the PRESENT is a GIFT. let's cherish and respect it nah.

This is the beauty of this forum. All yuh have tuh do is key in a 'key' word in search find ah post if yuh want and run the ole talk. It have some real nice threads from the archives. We should have a nostalgic day!!!

I am all for using pre-existing threads instead of creating new ones about the same thing.

It easier to keep some history on the topic for everybody to read and come up to speed on what was said before.

We have so many threads now people should rarely have to start a new topic unless is news or some other time sensitive issue.

I guess it just easier to click New Topic than to take the time to look for an old thread. But the moderators end up spending alot of their time having to merge posts and that ain't cool cuz it have so many parallel threads they can't keep up.

Yes the beauty of the set up is that yuh could recall and go back in time and start the ole talk again; but like all thigs today" fast food' fast lime' fast sex' man just want it instantly; nobady eh want tuh take the time to go back and find old thing.
