was looking. less than stellar. i feel we could get out of the group this year with a win and a tie...and i think it is possible given our weak opposition (except USA).

Interestingly, we have never lost to Costa Rica in the Gold Cup, but have never beaten them in World Cup Qualifiers. I see that in two meetings we have not lost to Honduras either.

Our downfall was that in earlier editions the tournament was only 8 teams or, as in the exteded format, if you lost one group game you were out.

We shot ourselves in the foot in both 2002 and 2005 though.
Success will never take you by surprise.

an american pardna of mine invite me to his home to take in the math on saturday but i will have to decline b/c i cant take the talk if we start to ship goals like a sieve. (i'm optimistic but realistic also)

Let's be real ,stop fightin down d present team"s chances ,d majority of the blacklisted players was on d same 2005 Gold cup team that fail to advance from there group.So maybe these guys might do better who noes
