Neal and Massy Automotive Limited has announced the building a multi-purpose sporting complex in the Morvant area as they continue to support their community.
This announcement was made on Wednesday at their Morvant offices, while revealing some new initiatives in association with Pro League club Caledonia AIA of which they are the official team sponsor.
General Manager of Neal and Massy Automotive Limited Derrick Farrier made the announcement saying, “We have just purchased six acres of land east of our facility here in Morvant and within that six acres, we are donating a large portion which would allow us to build a multi purpose facility,” he said.
He also added, “This means that the Morvant, Caledonia area would have their own multi purpose facility where sports such as basketball, football, netball etc. would be played.”
Farrier also sees this beneficial to Caledonia AIA football club saying, “We are seeing this as an addition to the Caledonia AIA football team because we know in the off-season players need to keep fit. Having a facility like that would allow them to continue their training all year round,” he explained.
The Neal and Massy manager went on to make it clear that this was just an extension to what they have started a few years ago and what we hope to achieve for the football club and their community.
According to Farrier preparation for the facility is expected to begin within the next few weeks.
He also disclosed that through their continued support for the growth of the Morvant, Caledonia area, even the contractor who has been provided to prepare this facility is in fact from the Morvant, Caledonia area.
