He definitely shouldn't have been on the field...and yeah, he did play 90 mins for England.  To top it off he comes and plays for LA and collects a nasty foul (boot to the mid-section) from a scrub like Jessie Marsh.  Marsh got a yellow, but that clearly should have been a direct red.  He got beat and decided to take out Beckham, bad enough in itself, worse when your foot makes contact above the pelvis.

The whole coaching staff and management of LA Galaxy needs to be questioned here. He should not have played more that 20 mins to the end. He coulda damage himself. Also, Becks hadda realize MLS is a physical game, men will not just let him blow by just so, like he is a police. He hadda stop charging at men when he get tackle.

But it is clear his ankle is not fully healed and it was foolish to play him as long as they did. In fact..he probably should not have played him at all. But why blame the Glaxy or MLS. Galaxy is only paying Becks 6.5 mill ah year not 50 mill. de rest ah money coming from sponsers and marketing, becks is ah brand name so every jersey dey sell he make a certain percentage on it, should he leave the club stand to lose more money than him.

McClaren is an arse...you mean to tell me that yuh know Becks ankle not 100% and yuh make de man fly across de pond and play him for de entire 90 mins ...If Beckham was playing for Man U, Ferguson woulda done cuss up dat whole England coaching staff...De man clearing limping, sorry to say, but the best thing that could happen is if he pull ah hamstring, so he could rest for the remainder of de season...come back fresh next year....

He also needs to protect himself as well.  You think MLS want to see Becks get in a scrap?  The minute they realize that "either we crack down on some of these rash tackles or we might lose him" you will see him get what he want...which is for man to have some kinda sense when they rushing een.
